Waiting five years makes this story start all over for me. I have a hard time relating the characters this year to season 3 2 or 1 for some reason. Rita story is the only thing that's interesting. . Maybe I need to give it more time..

I haven't seen the ep, how did it all go down with Adele? This is what happened roughly...VV's subs will provide more specifics, or alfi might be able to. Basically, Adele showed up at the store and Cristina overheard her asking an attendant for Ana. Cristina went over to take Adele down to Ana in the workroom. Cristina learned that Adele was there from New York with an opportunity for Ana, so Cristina tried to get Blanca to bring Ana over to meet Adele. Blanca was reluctant because Ana wasn't in the work room at that time (she was elsewhere ranting to Emilio about Marco, I think), but Cristina said Ana shouldn't miss this opportunity. So Blanca went to see Ana to tell her about Adele...Ana didn't want to meet with her at first (maybe because she planned to go to Aurora's funeral, I think?), but Blanca/Emilio convinced her to go. Anyway, later in the episode Ana met with Adele and they did a tour of the workroom, along with Cristina. Ana showed Adele her designs. Then Adele started asking about THE red dress...she described it in detail, and said she wanted to see it. When Ana realized the dress Adele wanted to see, she got emotional, said she didn't have it, I think, because then Cristina piped up and said she had the dress and would bring it. Cristina went off somewhere and then came back with the dress, which she gave to Ana...they had words, Ana became extremely emotional, started crying, and then rushed off with the dress. Cristina was left alone with Adele and tried to explain Ana's behavior by saying that the dress was very important because of its connection to the former director. Adele said she knew that. Cristina continued by talking about Alberto's death, and Adele became confused and said that Alberto isn't dead. Cristina was stunned. In the previews, Cristina has a business card for Silk in New York and she's shown picking up the phone. Then there's another scene where she gets mad at Carlos for hiding the letters, and she slaps him.

I haven't seen the ep, how did it all go down with Adele? you didn't miss anything interesting she came at the end it was slow and boring I hope next week is better or else they are going to be losing viewers l can see why they decided to end it at season 4 the writers got sloppy they shouldn't have jumped so far a head two years would've been fine they could have tied up all the loose ends from previous seasons until Alberto comes back

Did Adele try to tell Ana anything or just left it? I'm surprised she would be upset at Carlos. Yikes. Well, the show refuses to evolve, which is sad. They just stick to what they've been doing and aren't keeping things fresh. I don't think the show can survive without Alberto, there is a giant hole in eps where he's missing. That said, they wasted him in the eps after he broke up with Ana in season 3. Now they are doing a rush job and the jump ahead was a terrible move on their part. 2 or 3 years tops would have been ok, but 5 is ridiculous, especially because the storylines all seem so frozen in time.

Laura one interesting thing happened Carlos called Ann and before he hanged up he said to her I love you she didn't say I love you back to him instead she said see you tomorrow and yes he is still wearing that stupid pilot outfit I can't stand seeing him in that outfit any more 😱

Thanks, Northbound. So that's how the red dress factored in! Yeah, it was a really good scene. PE and MV both did a good job...PE with the description of the dress and then both women when Cristina hands it over. No, she didn't try to tell Ana anything, but Adele didn't realize that they all think Alberto's dead until Ana had already run off with the dress, so I don't think she thought she had anything to tell/reveal. I know I've got a more charitable read on Cristina than a lot of people, LOL, but I think it makes sense for her to be angry with him if it's true that she has been trying to change. I was talking about this with VV on Twitter during the show...basically, in this episode Cristina did come off as wanting the best for Ana. In fact, if I was following the dialogue correctly, if it weren't for Cristina, Adele/Ana wouldn't ever have met -- Cristina had to convince Blanca to go get Ana so Ana could take advantage of the opportunity Adele was offering. She also seemed genuinely remorseful about the dress when she returned it to Ana, which Ana was surprised about...no one seemed to expect Cristina to pipe up saying that she had the dress and would bring it to Ana/Adele. I think if she were still holding a serious grudge, she would have kept quiet about the dress out of spite. Cristina also cares about Alberto...is it genuine love, no, because it was selfish and obsessive, but he was still a big part of her life and I believe she'd rather see him alive than believe he's dead. So I can absolutely buy her being furious with Carlos, if not for Ana (who should be her priority, but we'll have to wait and see if that comes through next week in her words/actions) then for herself. Now, that being said, and without getting into spoilers beyond this episode, we'd have to see what happens after her initial anger with Carlos. There's plenty of opportunity for her to fall back into her old habits once the shock has worn off. Why did Cristina not run and tell Ana immediately?!? At the end of the episode, she was in complete shock, unable to speak. It also seems from the previews at the end of this episode that she doesn't run to tell Ana immediately, which could be for her own selfish reasons, or it could also be because she wants to find out if it's true before telling Ana. Or maybe a mixture of both.
