[ It's so funny 😂 that you should say that i said the same thing in one of my post valentine is a geek 🤓 but he is not a buffoon 😄 He's definitely the ultimate geek, nerd what have you, but he's not dumb. He knew that something was up with Patricia, just didn't know it was Enrique 😛 He's good in small doses, I found him amusing in the last ep and how he caters to Patricia and calls her his flower/Petal and the way he says por favor. Pedro is just a fool and he's a main character so it is grating. I noticed that they always make the audience positive who the father is. We knew Cristina wasn't pregnant, before trying with Victor. Patricia is pregnant by Enrique and it seems like she and Valentin barely, if ever, had sex before the last episode. I get the feeling that Enrique has feelings for Patricia and she still just views him as sex. She was surprised and didn't really care about the flowers for her birthday. Their relationship never made sense to me and I still don't know what to really make of it. amh08- yeah, I really don't know why they make Rita into such a martyr. They just stick to one note with these characters. She's always hiding something and super emotional about it. I'm really surprised Ana didn't catch on because she seemed to sense something was off with Rita. When she hugged Emilio bells should have went off that something was wrong. She didn't turn out to be pregnant, so one would assume the doctor had other news for her if she was acting so strangely.

What did everyone think of the episode? First I want to thank you for making it possible that a lady from Canada can finally view the 4th season of Velvet in english. I love Velvet. I did get to watch season 2 today and had read most of the comments before but the one that intrigued me was the one about Christina. Lots of speculation as to whether she will change or whether she will return to who she was in Season 3. And like everyone else we hope so. But after watching episode 2 I have some thoughts. Remember Alberto and Christina left on pretty bad terms with both declaring that they shouldn't have met one another, and Alberto saying he never wanted to see her again. And then he died. There are some pretty unresolved issues between the 2 and of course wait till Alberto finds out what Christina did to Ana, pushing her down the stairs. If anything Christina may fear the repercussions of that if Alberto is still alive. Everyone else has swept it under the carpet. Maybe Alberto has too, but in Christina's fragile mind she may be paronoid. Also, when someone dies it's easier to forgive, as is the case between Christina and Ana, because the said protagonist is no longer around and available to either one. But when the said protoganist returns and is alive, as is the case for Alberto, Christina will need to process this and how she does is going to be key. Will she really be ok with Alberto returning into the arms of Ana? Will she team up with Carlos although I am in doubt of that. But she will hold off, for awhile until she figures her role in this. Maybe she thinks if Alberto saw how much she's change there may still be hope between the 2? Who knows! What may swing things and make Christina return to who she was is when Alberto and Mateo team up to take down Marco, Enrique, and perhaps even Christina, to save Ana's reputation or design business as Enrique and Marco's intention is to destroy it, then Christina may have to make a choice. Whose side will she be on? If Alberto returns to save Ana, will that turn Christina, finally, against Alberto? Will that be her ultimate revenge? Is this considered a spoiler as I really don't have any idea. Just piecing everything together. I don't mean to be so hard on Christina as in season 1 I really liked her even though I was rooting for Ana and Alberto. I never wanted the marriage to take place but in this storyline there was no other way that it wasn't going to happen. I found Christina very irksomely needy and in the end as manipulative as her brother and father to the point where, even if Alberto was dead to his feet from work she always needled him to do what she wanted. Remember when Enrique warned Alberto at the infamous tennis match that "his sister always gets her way"! I didn't think that was far from the truth, and she has shown us that she will, when push comes to shove do anything to get what she wants. Thanks again, this is so much fun and as I said I love Velvet almost to the point of obession. I can't wait for the future episodes. Love from Canada!!

I think this episode was better than the one before It starting to pickup stream so we know that Alberto knows about Ann and what she is going from the tv coverage of her career, because she never wrote back to him he thinks that she doesn't love him anymore I don't believe he knows that everyone thinks that he is dead or that he has a son

I agree Christine the story is picking up steam and all of the stories are getting interesting! I watched part 2 this morning and I was impressed. Marco will bring ana down if she's not careful, but wait until Mateo gets there! he's going to straighten everybody out!! Raul always makes me laugh. You never know what he's going to say..! What about Marco being engaged!? Clara wake up! Lord, lord this show I'm obsessed too!!

First- I thought that the episode ended with Cristina finding out about Alberto being alive??? so I am not sure why anyone is speculating about her running off to tell Ana. We will see how it is handled in Episode 3. I liked the episode and did not find it boring in the least, but rather nicely moved the storyline along and into position. Marco dissing Clara (for the assistant job) will come to haunt him and send Clara back into the arms of Matteo- jmo - when she realizes that he is a no good scoundrel without regard for her talent. I had high hopes for Marco in Season 3, but he is obviously a bad guy.
Carlos returning to Madrid is right on time, and when Ana does not return the "I love you" during the phone call, we are sent the message that she is NOT in love with him. Any commitment to marry him, will be for Alberto Jr.'s sake, mark my words.
I love Velvet and feel that the writers worked a brilliant story line from the start and everything fits rather nicely.
I will miss Velvet very much. For me, it is a calming, relaxing, guilty pleasure that I adore. I hope that I can watch other great television with some or all of the cast in the future.

Christine ^ You're so bad, but I'm dying 😆
Ladyfromcanada- there shouldn't be any more unresolved feelings, that should have been it. I think Alberto had moved on from the Cristina fiasco, even though the ramifications are still effecting his life, but she can't let go because she's insane. I don't agree with your second paragraph and there is some evidence to the contrary of some other things you mentioned. If you want we can move that part of the discussion to the spoiler/spec thread. Cristina was annoying as hell from the very first episode, Alberto should have listened to what Enrqiue was saying. I actually think she is worse than her brother. He's always been loyal to her, but she stabbed him in the back on several occasions.

Glad you all are able to watch! And my thoughts on this episode:
I am really loving the Mateo/Ana stuff we've been getting. Mateo was also just perfect this episode. That scene with him imagining everyone's reaction to his return. haha Javier Rey is so good!
I honestly don't get Marco and he's obviously one of the new villains. And he's totally playing Clara. I mean, how is she going to feel when she discovers he's already engaged?! I can't wait for Mateo to return as I think it's going to be very interesting to see how they all interact. At first I wasn't too keen on the idea of the Mateo/Clara break up but I imagine they're still going to be the couple that we've always loved.
Cristina seemed to genuinely try with Ana, but she still has a lot of making up to do. Even though she spent a lot of time in treatment, actions speak louder than words and right now she needs to really demonstrate those actions. But now with Alberto being alive, all that is going out the window.
Patricia and Enrique. I'll admit that sometimes it's evident how much Enrique cares for Patricia, but the point is he's a horrible person and patricia deserves someone better, but someone who she can also love. And that for me, is Jonas. I know it won't go that way, but the writers started it and they should've finished it. It's totally unfair! haha But yeah I'm really loving the Jonas storyline. And I can't wait for the bromance between him and Raul. Also, Raul and Mateo! The best!
As for Pedro, you've all pretty much expressed how I feel about him as well. I legit only really enjoy him when he's with Rita because he can actually be very sweet, but with everyone else...
And Rita! Poor Rita, always some health issue with her. It's totally unfair. Overall I think it was a solid episode. Not a lot happened, but this episode definitely set up for the following episodes.

I think that I'm going to stand up for Cristina and Pedro a bit. I know that Cristina is not "very popular" but you have to give her credit for coming back to Velvet and confront her demons, what she is doing is very brave and a fundamental step in her recovery. She is reacting really well to all the negativity she is receiving from everyone, it's going to be sad to watch her going to "her hell" again, although i still think that Carlos is going to manipulate her somehow, giving her partial information, lies and half truths about what Alberto has been doing all these years, tonight we will know about that. And Pedro... i don't know if there is an equivalent in english/american/european culture, this is going to be difficult to explain, but he is someone who is very embarrassing to watch on purpose, someone from the spanish countryside, someone without any malice, very innocent and thick when judged by people from the city, to the point of looking dumb. I could not stop laughing when he was meeting Enrique and Marco. And he is totally in love with Rita (who is the female version of Pedro by the way), watching how she was breaking down when he was telling her about their future together was breaking my heart.

Admin-- I don't know, does Patricia really deserve anything better? I like her enough, but she's never been shown to have any interest in a real relationship. Her affair with Enrique is tawdry and I think that's how she likes it. She also married Valentin for his money. I think Jonas deserves someone better and more sincere. As far as Clara and Marco. I see them as playing each other other, she is still way into Mateo. She hasn't even told anyone about Marco.
Christine, Cristina's hair and clothes were all she had going for her, but even that's gone this season.

Christine, Cristina's hair and clothes were all she had going for her, but even that's gone this season. I feel sorry for Patricia. In season 1 her father didn't want her working at the store because he thought she should just get married and have children. She and Alberto didn't seem to get along from the beginning...I imagine Gloria had something to do with that. But she did want to get involved and she had a slow start but she does have a head for business. She married Valentin for a home and security...she was living at the store. With Alberto she did try on occasion to show that she cared and I believe she did but Alberto ignored her. After he died she did show Ana a lot of empathy. I wonder if she has a relationship with her little nephew? As for Valentin if he wasn't such a goof maybe she would love him...though I think she cares for him. Enrique set out to use her because of her shares but maybe he fell in love with her during the past 5 years...he gave her flowers for her birthday. She just seems alone...she doesn't even have a girl pal. I hope she doesn't tell Enrique that the baby is his. If it's a boy that could be problematic because he would want an heir...when Lourdes was born he was expecting it to be a boy and was disappointed it was a girl. It would also require a new season for that story to unfold. what upsets me is that there are all these little plots brewing and only 9 episodes to resolve them.
