I agree regarding Patricia. Remember what she said to Jonas the first time she slept with him. They both got what they wanted...he wanted to have sex with her and she wanted him to keep her secret. Poor girl only thought she had sex to use as an asset never being valued by anyone for anything else. She seems like a smart girl and clearly wants to be successful at Velvet. I think she realizes that while Enrique has been “fun” but that has run its course. If she wants someone who is going to be a good father then she needs to make sure Enrique isn’t involved.

Admin-- I don't know, does Patricia really deserve anything better? I like her enough, but she's never been shown to have any interest in a real relationship. Her affair with Enrique is tawdry and I think that's how she likes it. She also married Valentin for his money. I think Jonas deserves someone better and more sincere. As far as Clara and Marco. I see them as playing each other other, she is still way into Mateo. She hasn't even told anyone about Marco. Christine, Cristina's hair and clothes were all she had going for her, but even that's gone this season. I feel sorry for Patricia. In season 1 her father didn't want her working at the store because he thought she should just get married and have children. She and Alberto didn't seem to get along from the beginning...I imagine Gloria had something to do with that. But she did want to get involved and she had a slow start but she does have a head for business. She married Valentin for a home and security...she was living at the store. With Alberto she did try on occasion to show that she cared and I believe she did but Alberto ignored her. After he died she did show Ana a lot of empathy. I wonder if she has a relationship with her little nephew? As for Valentin if he wasn't such a goof maybe she would love him...though I think she cares for him. Enrique set out to use her because of her shares but maybe he fell in love with her during the past 5 years...he gave her flowers for her birthday. She just seems alone...she doesn't even have a girl pal. I hope she doesn't tell Enrique that the baby is his. If it's a boy that could be problematic because he would want an heir...when Lourdes was born he was expecting it to be a boy and was disappointed it was a girl. It would also require a new season for that story to unfold. what upsets me is that there are all these little plots brewing and only 9 episodes to resolve them. I like Patricia and felt the worst for her when Alberto screwed her out of her shares. That said, they really haven't done much with her. She married for money while carrying out a gross affair with Enrique. I would love for them to have found her someone else, but I don't think she and Jonas are compatible. She would be too snobby to date a tailor too. Yeah, she's never had someone to talk to, only Enrique. I would love to see scenes with her and Alberto's son, but so far nothing. I think Enrique will figure out he's the father because Valentin basically told him they don't have sex and we know she and Enrique are at it like rabbits. They really wasted a lot of opportunities with Patricia, the writers never seemed to be interested in fully developing her character.

I think that I'm going to stand up for Cristina and Pedro a bit. I know that Cristina is not "very popular" but you have to give her credit for coming back to Velvet and confront her demons, what she is doing is very brave and a fundamental step in her recovery. She is reacting really well to all the negativity she is receiving from everyone, it's going to be sad to watch her going to "her hell" again, although i still think that Carlos is going to manipulate her somehow, giving her partial information, lies and half truths about what Alberto has been doing all these years, tonight we will know about that. And Pedro... i don't know if there is an equivalent in english/american/european culture, this is going to be difficult to explain, but he is someone who is very embarrassing to watch on purpose, someone from the spanish countryside, someone without any malice, very innocent and thick when judged by people from the city, to the point of looking dumb. I could not stop laughing when he was meeting Enrique and Marco. And he is totally in love with Rita (who is the female version of Pedro by the way), watching how she was breaking down when he was telling her about their future together was breaking my heart. I share your views on the character of Christina. I always felt that the writers gave her a pretty raw deal on season 3 by turning her into a crazy bitter vengeful woman. Keeping in mind her privileged upbringing, she was pretty sincere in her wanting to be helpful and for those she loved to get along. Yes she had her pushy overbearing moments but she did apologize to Ana for those times she was mean to her. That snooty stuck up witch Barbara never would have! I love Ana and Alberto together and can't wait for them to finally get their happy ending, but they were also each cruel in their own way to Christina. She was a clueless victim and deserves to have redemption and a happy ending also in season 4.

Alberto may screwed her on the company shares but what she did was pretty terrible when she burn the last letter that Rafael wrote to Alberto about his mother. If Alberto in fact does killed in the plane crash he died not knowing his father did confess what he did.

I feel that Patricia is responsible for a lot of what happened to her. Yes she is smart with a good head for business. Her father did what men back in that era did, totally focus on the male aire to take charge of the family business. Don Rafeal had no idea what his daughter was capable of and didn't care. With his support and trust his son and daughter could have put that business back on top. Instead of listening to Alberto whom he sent away to school for many years to get a good education, experience in a high fashion clothing store and when Alberto came home with new ideas from a young visionary raring to put these ideas to use. Don Rafeal was stuck on the old ways of doing things and not ready for change. He quickly shot Alberto's down and still wanted to tell him how to do things but Alberto is a man now Nothing and no one holding him back so Alberto was out and his father took the cowards way out. He kills himself and leaves Alberto to clean up that mess. I wish Alberto and Ana could have left when they tried to leave for Paris.
Back to Patricia, she started that fued with Alberto. Her mother didn't help because she encouraged her. As soon as Albert returned home they started making demands to his father for shares of the business. Patricia burned the letter from Alberto's mother, she took her mothers shares and tried to kick Alberto out of his own office, with Enriques help P/E were going to walk all over Alberto had his mother not told him those were her shares and how to get them. Also P was very cold and disrespectful. After that it was war with Alberto. He was hurt from the death of his mother, the lost of his love Ana, feeling the wrath of Christina. Maybe he fielt like his back was against the wall. When times get tough the tough get going and that's what he did, P was just caught in his crossfire. I don't think Alberto believed that Christina cared a dam about him. I like Patricia and don't completely blame her for her actions, I blame her mother and father. They didn't really express love to her. I don't like what P is about to do to her husband who adores her. That's just wrong to pretend the baby is Valentines. No good is going to come from this if V is not killed. That is another season, also I think she's starting to really feel bad about how she treats her husband even thou she needs him to believe this is his baby. P appeared to have a moment when V was doating on her. Maybe P will start to feel something for him and then he accidentally kills himself. She will probably dump Enrique and raise her child as a single mom. I really don't think she loves Enrique, it really is just sex with him. I initially wanted her with Jonas but now I don't think he should get involved with that drama unless P feels for him and turns to him if her husband dies. I just don't want to witness another loveless relationship.

I think burning the letter was terrible, but none of her scheming ever worked anyway. Alberto soon found out his mother was alive and he still loved his father after all was said and done. She and Alberto's relationship was always odd and underdeveloped. Alberto defended her to Cristina, then gleefully screwed her out of her shares. She started a lot of it, but Alberto always out maneuvered her, so she was basically harmless. I think she would have been more amiable towards Alberto if he gave her some credit and showed some compassion. Towards the end, they barely even had any scenes together, she was in the Otegui orbit more than Marquez.
I agree Camille, Patricia should cut Enrique loose. I assume he is still married too, which is another reason she has to make Valentin believe he's the father. She couldn't be with Enrique, even if she wanted to. I always assumed they were just based on sex. I honestly thought once Barbara found out, it would be over. Since they dragged this on for four seasons, it must be more. To me the birthday flowers scene was telling, he acknowledged a special day in her life and she responded by saying it wasn't necessary and she wanted something else lol I feel like they gender role reversed with she and Alberto. He's more about love, which is usually the female part, and Patricia more about business than romance. That said, at least Alberto has both. Patricia private life is just empty and they never even tried to make another man interested in her except Valentin. I'm wondering if she'll even have this child or something will happen.
For me, I like Patricia, but if she left tomorrow I wouldn't really care.

Liz, it's odd that Don Emillio would say this but react the opposite. You would think his feelings about live and knowing how much Alberto loved Ana that he would have fought for their love but instead he kept them apart. It took Isabel's dying wish to get through to him. I hope that Ana listens to him about marrying for any other reason than live is a bad idea when she makes a decision about Carlos proposal.
