alfi, nobody is saying they should make a porn video, just a little more sexy and better illusion. They did more passionate scenes with Sara, Blanca and even Cristina. Patricia too, but that has always been straight up vulgar. They even had a side shot of MAS completely naked in the morning after scene with Cristina, so they can't can't be too big of prudes.
Camille, I'm not thrilled about the book. It is kind of corny and it really destroys the character of Alberto. Not saying he should have stayed alone, but I'm not too crazy about the way it's written. It's interesting about the videos, whenever Antena 3 posts something, it automatically comes up on my FB page and based on the comments people are upset they are leaking so much. I personally love it, but am surprised by the sheer volume. They've given away so much, I am dying to see more with Alberto, but I think that's the stuff they won't release.

You are not understanding what i'm saying, it's not about morals or anything like that, it's somewhat difficult to explain.
In prime time in Spain you are not usually going to watch sex scenes with explicit nudity, PE did not sign a no nipple contract because these kind of scenes are aired usually after prime time. This is literally a series you will watch with all your family, teens, adults and old people together before going to bed. Unlike the States, where with so many productions trying to get viewers they focus more in determined demographics, in Spain they try to tick all of them, so they go for what in Spain would be considered a PG13 series, with characters of all ages.
That scene with Sara was pretty clean, she was naked but you couldn't peak too much, and i think you Lara nailed it when you said it was about stressing it was only physical.
I spoke about how sex scenes were removed in Italy because policies differ for different countries and channels, it was just an example, it's not the same Telecinco, Berlusconi's channel in Spain and Italy, or RAI1, which is the italian public channel.

I get what you're saying alfi, it's basically about censorship. However, I'm not saying they should show breasts or MAS bare butt grinding away π€ (there are gifs out there of some movie he was in) but they could make it more believable looking. It can't be about censorship because they've already shown some very slightly risquΓ© scenes with other characters. Young children shouldn't be watching this show anyway but teens could certainly handle it. Yes, the Sara scene was more to demonstrate lust, but they created that illusion for viewer. Blanca had some hot scenes too. When A/A are supposedly having passionate sex, but she is wearing a dress and he seemingly didn't take his pants off, it takes away from the believability. The scenes are also about 15 seconds in length. I'm not saying it should be akin to an Amercian Cable show like "The Affair" but why can't A/A get scenes like the other female characters on Velvet? For the main couple, they've been the most unsexiest. That's why I think it must be something with PE not wanting to do scenes like that.

Censorship in Italy (the country where Rome is, with pope included ) in the public channel, in Spain to censor something is almost unthinkable, Game of Thrones which is big in Spain is also a prime time tv series, but for spanish series explicit sex scenes with nudity are expected to be like a late night kind of show. A/A scenes are on the same tone of Clara and Rita sex scenes, very light, i think you summarized them pretty well and why they are like that. Patricia and Sara sex scenes go along with their characters, but they are also tame. I would say that focus is always in the kiss instead of the sex itself which is more left to the imagination? Also think that spanish productions are sold in foreign markets, going "pg13" helps a lot for their marketability. A couple of clips from Fisica o Quimica, a teenager focused prime time series:www.youtube.com/watch?v=Sto2IWYIFyY Young Maxi as Cabano and Ruth.www.youtube.com/watch?v=_Cdum8rsgFU From the same series, some kisses between Fer and David, a gay couple.Tierra de Lobos:www.youtube.com/watch?v=PGqJRnV14H0 Lesbian couple, Cristina and Isabel.Los hombres de Paco:www.youtube.com/watch?v=xTRpxyG-dhk Another lesbian couple, Silvia and Pepa.www.youtube.com/watch?v=_I1N495PoPw Sara and Lucas, young girl and adult male.Kisses everywhere

alfi, is Rome really in Italy and that where the Pope lives??? π€ I didn't know this.
They need to amp up the A/A loves scenes, if we get any in S4. Make it as passionate as possible while staying within the Spanish tv guidelines. They need to do it like the Paris episode.

I may be an smart ass sometimes, but this was just my way of remarking that italian society is very influenced by the catholic church, so censorship of pretty mild sex scenes may happen. I would say that with the short time Alberto was able to dedicate to Velvet we are going to be lucky if he is in more than 3 or 4 episodes, and sex scenes with Ana are not going to happen, they are parents now, parents have no sex .

So am I ππ I *think* they'll have one final love scene, but it'll probably be tame. I'm still annoyed that they're giving them angst after all this. I foolishly thought we would get some happy episodes. Christine- how do you know he'll be in 6 episodes?
