Was Ann married in real life when she did the love making part with Alberto in Paris the reason I am asking is because some spouses don't want their other half doing stuff like that even if it is made believe Christine, Yes PE was married when she did that love scene in Paris who's was very convincing btw. I had that same question so I asked a co-worker who is familiar with PE. The loves after that was completely different. Maybe her husband gave her a hard time so she toned it down. I agree with Lara and Sunshine, MAS love scenes with both Sarah and Christina was hotter than the love scene with Ana, they actually had more chemistry than he and Ana. This might be why people think Alberto was falling for Christina. I don't think he was falling for Christina, I think he did liken her as a good person until she unleashed her dark side. I hope we get a love scene between A/A in the final season a little hotter than the last couple love scenes between them. I would like to see more like they had in Paris in which gave the appearance that they were really into each other.

__________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Lara said: It's bad enough we didn't get to see much of A/A relationship, speaking of which, can they have a decent sex scene without being fully clothed before the show ends! π π PE must have no nudity clause because Alberto/MAS scenes with Sara and even Cristina were way racier than the ones with Ana. ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Finally, somebody is talking about this. I am so glad you brought this point up Lara. A/A's intimate scenes are light and tame. As a matter of fact, I dont even know what was going on when they were intimate for the first time in his office lol! I think you are right - PE must have a "no nudity" clause because Alberto had more realistic and heavier scenes with Cristina and Sara. We have never really seen Ana in a sexy light. I know the writers probably did this on purpose to differentiate their relationship from let's say Patricia/Enrique. A/A's love is pure and innocent. I am not hopeful for season 4 either. I think it will be more of the same due to PE and the fact that MAS could only tape for a few weeks. Even if it is not a sex scene, I would have loved to see them in bed afterwards. They only showed this once in Paris, and it was great. My friends believe that A/A will be intimate after the reunion scene in the rain (the passion will be too great). I don't share the same belief. I always took it as the Sara and cristina's scenes were just sex. Being with Ana meant something. Now thinking about it I guess I could be wrong. Idk. I think A/A 's intimate scenes are both desire and love not just sex, I don't want to see them do what Hollywood sex scene in the movie do.

In response to your comment yes A/A love scenes are more of live and not just sex. However, making love can still be a little more intimate than what Ana has shown in the scenes. I don't mean "50 Shades of Grey" Erotic Lol, just a little more like Paris which wasn't bad or typical Hollywood like a lot of movies today. π

I don't mean "50 Shades of Grey" Erotic Lol, just a little more like Paris which wasn't bad or typical Hollywood like a lot of movies today. π Yes, exactly. They can only do so much on TV, but they could make it more passionate and believable than what we've seen. Like Mallory mentioned, they seem to downplay Ana's sexiness/sexuality, we see that in the way she dresses also. I don't think it could or should all be explained away by saying she is simple. I always wished they would have once dressed her in something like Cristina's blue velvet dress or the striped one from the Airsa party. Anyhow, it would be nice to see her unleashed a bit in a love scene and less innocent. I mean if she has one with Alberto after he returns it should be pure passion and lust after that long. I hope maybe we'll get a decent love scene in S4, but as I said, I think it has more to do with PE not wanting to do them. They could at least have the aftermath like in the Paris scene, the show hasn't given us nearly as much of that as they should. I wish they would have shown some of their vacation after Rita's wedding. Maybe them sitting by the pool or at a club, we've never really seen them outside of Velvet or his house, except Paris. He had more scenes like that with Cristina π In some ways Clara/Mateo and even Rita/Pedro were more satisfying to watch from that perspective than A/A thus far. I noticed in the new promo, which had new and old scenes, Marco, Carlos and Cristina, besides in a early scene more focused on A/A, were not in it. It made me think their roles might not be as significant as we think this season. I still can't believe they haven't officially released an airdate yet. It's unheard of in American TV not announcing it months in advance.

Lara, I have been waiting for Ana to come out of her she'll for quite sometime now. Every female on that show has dressed better, wore their hair better and had more exciting love scenes than Ana. She is not as simple as everyone makes her out to be. She has wore a couple of very nice dresses (maybe one per season)π€ if we count. When she has Come out with a nice dress I loved them. She looked beautiful, classy and safistacated. The red dress she wore in season one is my all time favorite on the show. When Christina wore the red dress it did nothing for her but Ana looked radiant. This is our last season of Velvet, I'm hoping Ana surprises us all in every aspect. However, I'm beginning to think we won't get much more interaction between A/A. i hope I'm wrong about that. We shale see.

Sadly Camille, I don't think it's going to happen. I agree, Ana is arguably the most attractive woman on the show and female star, yet the continue to underwhelm in the areas you mentioned. The hair is just getting worse... I hate the wig they are using in S4, as I've said many times before, instead of making her look chic and stylish it makes her look matronly. The Phillipe Ray designs have never impressed me. They have extras wearing beautiful dresses for a few seconds that they could use those as her designs or even dress her in. My feelings are known on the sex scenes lol Blanca's scenes were way hotter than anything Ana has done. Even the implication, when Max had the scratches on his back, was that she was wild and passionate. They insist on portraying Ana as this innocent wallflower, which she is not. Even positioning, is always Alberto on top and in charge. Whereas with Sara, she was on top. Now that Ana is supposed to be more confident and assertive, it will be interesting if they do sex scene how it is handled with an older, wiser Ana (position wise, pretty sure either way it'll be tame). I agree, she's not really simple, but I know that will be some people's argument on why they portray her as such.
I liked Ana in the red dress and yes she looked 100x better than Cristina. I'm not just saying that because I don't like the latter either, I thought that she looked exceptionally bad in every way in that scene. I also really liked Ana's purple Velvet dress in the Twelfth Night episode and the black one when she agreed to live in with Alberto. Overall though, it's been a huge disappointment. I hated the green dress from the Airsa party, too cutesy looking of a style and flowers for a woman her age, looked more what a 1950's teenager would wear especially compared to Sara and Cristina's dresses. I think what bothers me the most is that she's supposed to be a trendsetter and she's not at all.

Lara, I think after a five year absense from Alberto and Ana seeing him for the first time after believing he was dead; its on. The writers have to have written a final love scene with Ana and Alberto worthy of them showering each other with love lost and found. Yes, I think we will get a romantic encounter similar to the kiss Alberto had with Ana after the fight with Carlos. He had not touched Ana in months and when the kissed he almost devoured her. That scene and the Paris scene was fun first time love and passion st kiss if Alberto missing Ana's love. I loved both scenes and hope we get something similar in the final season. I loved all the dresses you mention above on Ana. The green dress you mention was a beautiful color and material, horribly designed. If designed differently, it could have been beautiful on Ana with a different hair style. That flower in the skirt of the dress was so awkward and out of place. Yes both Sara and Christina had on lovely dresses at Arisa party. Hopefully we get some knockout designs for Ana this season. What do you think about Patricia's red wig? I think it's horrible. She looks better as a blond. I also saw pics of her with black hair which also looks better than the red hair on her. I don't know if it's the color or the style. I think it looks too fake so maybe a different style in red would have looked much better. I wish they would release the season already.

It better be Camille π I think we will get a few tender scenes, like the morning after in Paris. As for a love scene, not sure that will be any different than we have. S1 had some good scenes of them together, MAS is really great in the subtle things like pulling her close, swinging her around, winking etc.. Unfortunately, Cristina was around π¬ Would've loved to have seen them at that jazz club he and Cristina were at. They didn't do enough of those date scenes with A/A even in S3. Yeah, the flowers on that green dress, there was one in the back also, were bizarre. It looked like curtains. Again, I'm a bit pessimistic about Ana's S4 wardrobe. Not great thus far and so much has been leaked already. Plus the hair is just....no. so the dress might not even matter unless they do something cool with her hair like slick it back. Patricia's red wig is as bad as the blonde! If they are going to use wigs, why not good ones where there is an illusion of a scalp? She's so pretty in real life and these wigs just do not do justice to her at all. I didn't like blonde or the red color, too unnatural looking. I think we'll see half the season by the time the first ep rolls around. They are releasing a lot.

Lara, I'm so happy with all the releases. This will pacify me until the season begins. The video you posted has a copy of the book being released post Alberto and Silk. I am an avid reader very much interested in reading the book. Especially since there is an image of Ana's torso in that red dress which leads me to think Ana will be a part of the storyline. If the book is well received there is a good chance of a movie/series. Also, I love that the music is posted on YouTube with some video clips which I have been enjoying. I can't wait for the season premier. Good point about Clara going from boss to boss, however, it has been known to happen. In Clara's defense, those are two good looking bosses who would temp many women.βΊοΈ

Americans... sex scenes in Italy were eliminated completely and spanish tv series like this one are thought to be family friendly, to be seen by teenagers to 60+ years old people, so naked/too passionate scenes are a big nope.

Different countries, different channels, different policies... in Italy it was aired by RAI1 which is the public channel and they cut all the sex scenes which of course made italian fans unhappy. This is a guess, but in the States, which is THE world juggernaut in TV productions, with production values off the charts compared to modest Spain (at about half a million euros per chapter Velvet is an enormous inversion here) you got series which are more specifically targeting demographics, in Spain though, prime time series try to be family friendly, and Velvet, with almost no swearing and mild sex scenes, would be in the equivalent of a PG13 category in the States, so no nipples .
