Does anyone know if or when we can hope to watch with English subtitles?

I have seeing the new show on utube without subtitles. I can only understand the obvious plot lines but not the details. I know MAS is not coming back but it will be nice to see Anna, MAS and Alberto again to finish the sloppy ending from season 4. The new Alberto like is not MAS so he can't never replace him.

Hi everyone, I'm working on eng subs now. But my schedule is a bit different now so I don't have as much time to do them as quick as before so I have no idea when I'll finish but the eps are only 50 minutes which is about 30 minutes shorter than Velvet so that's a big relief to me lol

I just binge watched all four seasons in a week. I love this show and was very sad after the finale. I'm beyond ecstatic to hear about a spinoff. It makes me feel like they haven't disappeared from my life, lol. Im also so thankful for this site because most websites I've found about Velvet, twitter postings, fan sites are in Spanish! It's great to see one in English. Thanks for all the juicy updates! I wonder if they will try to do an angle on Alberto Jr and Cris.

And yes, you're lucky you didn't have to wait 9 months for the spin off after the finale. lol And yeah I do wonder that too. So far I dont think we will see Alberto Jr. and Cris but I could be wrong.

So they just announced season 2 for Velvet Collecion! I am looking for a way to be able to watch season 1. Any ideas? I live in Canada. I’ll miss Alberto but I am looking for the other characters to shine in this series.

Hello there:) I am comming to Madrid in February and I would like to visit some places, which I can recognise from VELVET. I know, that most of filming scenes were from studio, but anyway if someone can tell me places I should visit and feel happy to say "Look there ! I saw this in my favorite show and I am here" it would be awesome.
Thanks for advice:)

Spanish posters here can probably give you some more insight, but here's what I've gathered: * Colmenar de Oreja is the area that stood in for the village of Porrillos when Pedro and Rita got married. Here are links to the behind the scenes video and the town's Wikipedia page. www.antena3.com/series/velvet/makingof/pasamos-dia-porrillos-grabacion-boda-pedro-rita_20150225571b23174beb287a2917635b.htmlen.wikipedia.org/wiki/Colmenar_de_OrejaThere is also this blog post which points out some Season 1 filming locations. You have to run it through Google Translate if you don't know Spanish, but the highlights appear to be these: www.anayatouring.com/blog/velvet-madrid-a-mediados-del-siglo-xx/* Our Lady of the Almudena Cemetery (where Don Rafael was buried) * Hotel Ritz (the hotel where the gang stays when they go to "Paris") * Casa de Campo (where Mateo and Clara stripped and made out overlooking the skyline) * Ermita de Nuestra Señora del Cubillo (the church where Alberto and Ana almost got married before Ana left Alberto at the altar) Other places to check out might be the churches (or was it the same one used? I can't remember right now...) for the weddings of Alberto/Cristina and Mateo/Clara. I do remember seeing pictures of the cast filming Mateo/Clara's wedding somewhere in Madrid -- I'm just not sure where.

LOL! And thank you for the information. I've realized it might be a good idea to actually start a thread somewhere on the board with all this information in one place for those visiting Spain. I'll put that on my list of stuff to do.

Another Madrid filming location to add to the list:
Alberto and Cristina get married in the S1 finale at La Parroquia de San Jerónimo el Real. It seems from looking around online that the interior of the church looks different in certain pictures, but it does appear to be the same church.
