Marco could just tell Ana that he is selling and wants out. That she doesn't need to leave because he will. Not sure why they had to dramatize this so much. They keep us guessing not only what is going to happen in the future with the main plot lines but also with things that are happening in the present with these side things and how many of the characters got to where they are now. We don't even understand with certainty why characters are doing what they are doing, subtitles or not. Marco is doing everything without his father approval so he can't tell Ana he is trying to sell the Cafiero's shares to the best bidder. And as someone said Marco could be tired of living in Spain. One of the fun things i find in this kind of shows is the fact that writers open many doors and use them to later twist the plot and surprise you, and the fact that you keep wondering where they are going to let the story flow, because this, making theories is really fun. In Velvet they are usually well done, in classical telenovelas you must literally kill your suspension of disbelief. In the "secreto de puente viejo" for example, the leads in one point of the plot discover they are brothers, so they must stop seeing each other, but they are really not, Tristan is an illegitimate son, www.youtube.com/watch?v=H9mAvtppvg8 here Pepa interrupts Tristan wedding with Gregoria and tells him they are not brothers, she also declares him how she loved him from the first moment they met. This is why they are called "culebrones" in Spain, they have a lot of episodes and keep twisting their plots like they were big snakes. For example, why everyone here assume that Adele said the truth and she is working for Alberto... maybe she is really working for him, but how do you know she doesn't want Alberto for herself? "Las apariencias engañan" is a popular saying in Spain, "Looks can be deceiving".

Thank you for getting the episodes up early. Next episode looks amazing. We're coming to the end, it makes me sad. I hope some of the characters cross over to the Cable girls show. Just re watching on Netflix.

Lara said, I don't think that 5 year thing was accurate. Anyone could put a summary up on IMDB. it really wouldn't make sense why a Caiferios would run the place for 5 years, invest their money into improvements, just to give it back to Alberto. The first leak we heard was that Mateo had to bring Alberto back for something important regarding Velvet. Which we now know was at most probably stopping Ana's wedding. I don't think he had a contract with Gerardo either. He would have definitely enforced it to buy out the 40% and get rid of Cristina and Enrique. I love Jonas! He's a great character and goes very well with Raul. I am so happy the next ep has those genuine friendship momemts we've missed a lot of this season. I like how they are all going to support and be there for Ana. Even with the bad writing, just having Alberto back makes it all better. The show isn't the same without him. It's just annoying thst he's only in 2 eps. Camille, I didn't know that was a viewers idea and post about a five year contract. Where is Enzo anyway, it's like he has just disappeared. I have to admit I knew Alberto's time was limited but I thought we would get more than two episodes with him. I'm shocked Maybe the writers will make it up to us when they shoot the ending, hopefully they will give us more of Alberto and Ana in the finale. Yeah, at IMDb anyone can post and edit those summaries. I know, Enzo disappeared after that early episode! I thought so too, remember we kept thinking he'd be back in ep 6, before the season started. Lol then with each passing ep, it became apparent he was barely going to be on. I thought he'd be in at least 4 eps though. I feel like the ending really was filmed, but they are insinuating they are going to continue in some form as we keep hearing. For me, if Alberto isn't a part of it, no thanks. Thats a good point. He might feel like Ana is determined to leave either way and it does seem like that. I believe she'll would only stay if Alberto is the buyer. The thing is that she said she would take a lot of the Velvet people, but how much money does Ana have? She gave a lot of her savings to Rita. She would have to pay rent and cover all costs for the line so she would be limited with staff and she can't provide room and board. I can see Emilio and Blanca going with her, but no one else until she's established. Nothing to add to your second paragraph. That pretty much summarizes how I feel too.

Lara, Ana must have more money put away than We thought she has. I'm sure Enzo was very generous to her with her pay, her success caused Marco to change his entire persona. We know she does not spend a lot of money on cloths and she still lives at the dorms. Traveling for five years and being a fugal spender, Ana might have a nice nest egg stored away. She didn't hesitate when she said she was taking the girls with her. Also thanks to Mateo's magazine article and Marco introducing her new line, I think Ana just might successfully pull it off. If Ana sticks to her decision to leave and take all of Velvet's talent with her she will succeed. If Ana does leave, Marco might as well sell Velvet to Alberto or take a chance on loosing it all. Ana made it sound like she can get out of her contract based on what Marco did. What about Raul's contract. I don't believe his contract restricts him from leaving anytime he would like because the threatened to leave at one point and time when his line was stolen by Oxford leading me to think he does lent have a contract which keeps him from leaving. If this is so and Raul partner with Ana, they will take Madrid by storm. Alberto would have a good chance to get Velvet back for a good price.
Clara seemed surprised that Marco has a fieance, she actually appeared to be a little mifted knowing that he kept that from her. Now she knows he was not serious about having a real relationship with her , she knows he was only having fun while he was in Madrid. I wonder if Clara will keep quite about the dling with Marco. Maybe she can use that against him to get him to sell his shares to Alberto. The only thing is that still leaves the Otegui's and I want them out too.

Gosh this episode pushed my buttons. I am such a gentle natured person but Christina needs a Clara slap upside her smirky evil face 😂
I think we know now that this season brings unexpected things and doesn't always close doors it's opened or address things like many of us would like or expect.
In the end, this episode for me was about feeling their emotions without necessarily seeing them displayed. I got such an intensely moving feeling from Mateo's pause outside the lift and then his getting in and closing the door on his way to finally see Alberto. It was weirdly enough for me. Even though I have always felt I was left needing more each episode this season.
Thanks again VV, so much appreciated! And all you lovely people who discuss something I love so much. I love reading and thinking and seeing other perspectives!!

Maybe she can use that against him to get him to sell his shares to Alberto. The only thing is that still leaves the Otegui's and I want them out too. Maybe. I just remember Clara saying something like it's practically all her savings when she was signing the papers for Rita. Lol you're right about that Camille, the clothes and living accommodations should save her a ton. I think Marco would sell to Alberto, but Enrique and Cristina knowingly won't, unless the latter finally gives up and leaves or is conned. I think Marco will get Enrique's shares and then will sell them along with his or Patricia will get them. There is one thing that makes me wonder if Alberto does indeed get back the store that I won't mention in this thread. So far the shows been predictable in a lot of ways, but unpredictable in how it's unfolding. I'm actually surprised Raul is still at Velvet. For one, he doesn't like Marco, another, he's very uninspired doing the men's line, and finally he doesn't seem like the type of person to stay in one place. His whole thing about coming to Velvet was conquering the Spanish market, which he did. I can see him leaving Velvet to find another challenge at the end. What keeps him there is probably all the close friends he now has there. I'm actually looking forward to Marco's fiancée. To me those kind of storylines are more interesting than him trying to sabotage Ana's collection. I think Clara will care to the extent of Marco lying to her, but she has no real feelings for him either so I think she'll be mad more than hurt. OMG, the TV fairies have to free Velvet from the Oteguis!! If they bring the show back in any form and insist on Cristina coming back, I would love to see her stripped of all power she had there. Seriously, if Alberto gets the store back, he and Ana will have a lot of power, they should make Cristina's life hell. I never understood why last season she had so much control over them. Now Ana is the big designer and she'll be Alberto's wife, Cristina should no longer have any real power, especially if Barbara and now Enrique are no longer there to prop her up. I would love to see her at Velvet seething watching A/A and finally running out of options to terrify them and can only watch and than finally leave.💃🏼

Why was the Asian receptionist (?) at Silk so unwilling to help Mateo in person? (Even when Mateo said Ana the love of his life was getting married the next day thinking he was deceased.) She was so stand-off-ish... Then she came to drop a letter anonymously telling him when he can meet him. I didn't understand why she was being so 'mysterious'. Would be crazy if Adele re-appears in some way, but I wouldn't count on it with all the blatant plot holes. i I did not get that either....seems weird .no reason or explaination. Just no. Not gonna see him sorry

Mateo only called to stop the wedding after speaking to Alberto showing that he still loved her and was interested in a relationship. Anna waiting for Alberto in the rain was a declaration of love and a welcome back. Very romantic. I believe that Marco's fiancée coming to Velvet will create complications and can help the good guys to blackmail him out of Velvet. Think back to the scene with his father when they talk about him being faithful to his fiancée while in Spain. That seems very important to his dad. Have you noticed that from the moment Clara helped work on the material for the magazine article for pret a porter, she seems to be acting more mature mature and not fighting with Mateo. She loves him but she is holding back from admitting it. I hope she has truly matured and that things will be different between them.

Camille said, Lara you know you have my interest sparked about how Alberto gets the store back. Come on, share with us.😄 Wasn't a part of Alberto's deal with Garaldo that he own those shares until Alberto was able to pay back the loan? If so, Alberto can just pay the loan back and kick Christina out. If not, Christina's 20% gives her no say in how Alberto runs Velvet. I believe he can even forbid her from working in the store, can't he?
I love Raul's character, they have to allow him to display his men's line. Maybe he can do a runway with Ana's female line along with Raul's men's line. I think that would be interesting.

Lovelou, I agree Christina certainly deserved a Clara slap when she grabbed Ana to taunt her able Alberto leaving her and not caring about anyone but himself. What does Ana do, allow Christina's words to get to her. When will Ana realize Christina's that intentions have always been to destroy what she and Alberto's relationship. Christina's words are not worth nada, I wouldn't give her words a second thought. It was intriguing watching Mateo go for his meeting with Alberto and wondering what awaits him behind those doors 😯. I can't wait for the next episode.
