[. debmc I understand what you are saying and it's nice to see everyone together but the sadness and crying started in episode one we are almost at the end of the season and it is still going on every other storyline seems To much shorter this one seems like it has no end it is too depressing.

OMG did anyone breakdown when Raul found out about Rita? 😭😭 Oh yes I got emotional. I know most of you don't agree so don't attack but I feel that this season is as good as it can get without Alberto. It shows how close the atelier friends have become...they are there for each other when needed. A sharp contrast to the upstairs office where their only connection is scheming against Ana except for Mateo...he is out of his comfort zone as opposed to his office at the magazine. Clara is the one in the middle. She was at Velvet on her own...Mateo was gone, Rita was living elsewhere with her family and Ana was always travelling. So naturally she was with Marco...but it never dawned on her that their relationship was kept from everyone....Marco must have wanted it that way to prevent word getting back to his father and fiancé and because she was just a secretary...It didn't bother Mateo. Now this episode brought them all back together...if allowed Mateo would have been there too. Do you think Valentin dies? His mother is really upset in the trailer but could that be because he was hurt? Enrique is such a scumbag! Marco too but we have already established that. I hope his father comes and pulls him by the ears back to Italy. And the little homey scene with Cristina and Carlos...I think they might just find "comfort" in each other when Ana finds out. It is starting to come together for me. Sorry debmac I just read your post and I basically repeated what you said.

Loved tonight's episode! I have a couple of questions that have been weighing on me. Why is Carlos helping Christina when he knows she's going to tell Alberto that they all thought he was dead. Isn't it a given that Ana is going to find out about him hiding the truth from him for all these years? I'm wondering if this was addressed and I missed it. It just seems like even if he manages to get her to marry him it will be short lived because the truth is going to come out. (Didn't Christina tell him she is going to expose everything once they're married?)
Also, I cannot believe how heartless Marco is with the Rita situation, simply because it's Clara's sister. It is just perplexing to me. How can Clara be with someone who is such a bastard. Is he not even interested in attempting to pretend to care about how Clara is doing with her sister being sick?
Oh, and I was happy for all of you missing Alberto to see his letter to Mateo in the promo for next week!

It is not the storyline that is making me depressed it is the length of time that this is taking the season is shorter than all the other ones and yet their seem to be no end to this cancer story why does take almost the whole eleven episode It took her three episodes alone before she told anyone she has cancer then it took her another two episodes to get the money the only thing that was done quickly was her having the surgery the very next day l am almost sure it will take another two episode before she is out of the hospital and one more episode of crying and sadness I know that velvet wasn't made for me a English speaking view but only reason I loved it was for the love story's the lying the cheating people navigating their way to find love like i cried when Alberto died in season three but the very next episode I was happy again why does this depressing cancer stuff has to take over the whole fourth season enough already. I know that the horse 🐴 has already left the gate so this is just me venting.🗣🗣

Oh, and I was happy for all of you missing Alberto to see his letter to Mateo in the promo for next week! We have to just take everything at this point at face value. It really doesn't make sense that Carlos would in any way want Alberto back. I think Cristina would keep Carlos' involvement quiet and maybe tell Ana that she found out from Adele or some other way. It's just a really lame storyline, Ana can still leave him, it will tough to divorce him, but she can separate. Also once Alberto is back the kid will have a father and doesn't need a surrogate, Alberto will always have a presence in their lives. That's why this plot line is so dumb, especially because Cristina knows that you can't force anyone to stay together. It also makes zero sense that Adele didn't tell Alberto they all think he's dead and that she told Cristina otherwise. I am still waiting for what Cristina hopes to achieve with all this because they really haven't told us and it's not going work, so we won't see it unfold. I thought a better way to go was Cristina and Carlos trying to prevent Adele from connecting with Ana and keeping her designs from Silk. I mean Alberto sent her for dresses and to snoop around, he must have been curious how everything went down, but crickets. Cristina never mentioned her again and Carlos never asked Cristina how she found out, which was odd because if she found out anyone else could too. That's dangerous for Carlos. I still don't know what the hell Carlos gets from this whole thing. Marco has become a caricature. He had a lot of potential, but sadly never came close to reaching it.

She could not bear to lose Rita. If you noticed they added the flashback to show how close they were and how they drifted because of their family and career.
