I'd love to read more about this episode if anyone has more to share! I haven't seen it yet so love reading everyone's ideas. I think the last episode was fun to read about and didn't we end up with 11 or so pages!?

I don't believe that Carlos will marry Ana..that will be a cruel storyline for Ana.What Carlos did was unforgivable misleading Ana and keeping a child from his father!😡Thats not love like cristina it's called OBSESSION!!!Dangerous behavior. What these fools didn't consider was that Alberto will suddenly write to Mateo..Alberto will come home to Ana and his son...he will insist vehemently that he wrote over the years and I am sure the truth will begin to unravel from there and its not gonna be pretty.
And if by chance Carlos marries Ana the marriage can be nullified because its fraud..just like Alberto did to Cristina.
As for Cristina she is so delusional. 😡.Sorry for the long post.

If you ask me,this is how its going to happen. .I maybe wrong..Carlos and Cristina will wake up one morning to hear that Alberto is in town...Then they will scramble,Cristina threatening Carlos and Carlos trying to marry Ana immediately. ..because they didn't know about Mateo letter.With Alberto back in the pic,Ana will suffer a wave of cold feet with Carlos.I hope Clara doesn't open her big mouth and spill the brains to Marco then Enrique will hear and tell Cristina. In the trailer Mateo confided in Clara he was going to NYC to find Alberto.

After what Marco and Enrique did to Ana I would hope she would be loyal to Ana and keep news of this kind quiet until Mateo finds out if Alberto is alive. Some of you posted that you saw Patricia dressed in black so I hope Valentin doesn't die. The police have to figure out how he got shot in the first place. Hopefully Patricia will come to her senses and realize what happened and ditch Enrique. It would not be a happy ending if she and Enrique get together. He has to be punished for that and what he made Pedro do. I wonder if Alberto somehow buys back Velvet and kicks out Marco and the Orteguis. That way Velvet remains intact and the Velvet employees are not abused anymore. I can just imagine it now: Raul and Jonas will create designs for the men and Ana does the same for the women plus her pret a Porte and Velvet is secure at last. I really want Carlos and Cristina together! They are a perfect couple! If Barbara comes back it should be to see Enrique in jail and arrange an annulment....would that have been a reason to get one...your spouse committing murder or attempted murder? I am sad that it is coming near the end. I know we've talked about this before but Bambu has to realize the popularity of the series to the English speaking fans and release a sub-titled version of it. Once it is taken off Netflix it will be gone for good! |

I was waiting to VV to translate the episode, because it was really emotive. It has many moments it's really difficult not to cry, from how Emilio comforts Pedro after knowing all, or Ana and Raul reactions when they are told what is happening (both suspected that something was wrong), to the words Rita tells Ana and Clara before the operation. Once they begun with the cancer storyline they went a bit too close to reality than they have done before in Velvet, maybe that's why some people consider the 4th season a bit different than previous ones, and it's a story that it has to be treated in the most respectful way, and I think they are doing it really well. It was sad when Clara doesn't want to listen Mateo asking her if he can help with anything about Rita, she thinks he was trying to clean his conscience with her, but as others have said here, the "party of love" that Raul wants to give to Rita was basically the "velvet girls" with Pedro (yes, Raul is one of them now  and Ana is going to play matchmaker in the next episode, so she will convince Clara that Mateo still loves her and she is being unjust with him). The comical dialogue between Raul and Humberto, who is suffering withdrawal symptoms, before the tv advert' shooting is going to be difficult for VV to translate because it plays a lot with similarities with spanish words, like texto/text and tiesto/flowerpot: Raul: Very good! Humberto: but is there more tiesto? Raul: What tiesto? Humberto: ...texto. Raul: what is happening with your mouth! But you are going to love the dialogue once everything is done and they are saying goodbye, what Raul told Humberto plays a lot with how homosexuals lived their lives in the 50s and 60s. You are going also to love and laugh also with Enrique, Valentin and Patricia dialogues and interactions, before the shot of course. The Infantes cousins make amends in a very spanish "macho way" as well, it was a beautiful scene about family. In conclusion, this was an amazing episode, the best of the season so far, and Alberto is not even featuring yet... |

I am sad that it is coming near the end. I know we've talked about this before but Bambu has to realize the popularity of the series to the English speaking fans and release a sub-titled version of it. Once it is taken off Netflix it will be gone for good! They still needed Netflix to showcase the show. They are a bit between the hammer and the anvil here, without Netflix, you will not know about the show, and releasing an english subbed version will make Netflix not happy because they lose exclusivity in non-spanish markets. Doesn't Netflix release their own shows? because the english subtitled version "belongs" to them. If it's as successful as you say it is, maybe it would be interesting for both Bambú and Netflix to release the english subbed version after a while? They are already collaborating with "cable girls". |

Hey guys! First of all,I want to thank the people from this website for uploading every single episode from the new season with english subtitles! Muchas gracias!!! Second, In the first episode of season 4 it has been 5 years in which Ana has become a worldwide famous fashion designer so she must have done tv interviews where she tells that she has a son named Alberto and that his father, the love of her life, has passed. Now I''m just wondering...., Don Alberto must have seen or heard this, than he would have just come back in one of those 5 years to put all this misunderstanding behind right?  Or am I getting too much into it? Lol. Anyway I'm waiting with excitement for episode 6! Love from the Netherlands!! |

Spanish gossip news in the 60s in New York? about the meteoric career of a fashion designer in Europe? and Alberto Marquez bought them? the only european event which was televised everywhere (in some parts of Europe) was Eurovision en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eurovision_Song_Contest , Spain joined in 1961. I think they are going to explain Alberto ignorance with a straightforward "i thought she didn't love me anymore so i gave her space", and he only knew about her fashion career in specialized fashion magazines, and he didn't contact Mateo because internally Alberto was never prepared to discover if Ana was with another man (i don't think he even tried to send a letter). Eventually they will have to give the explanation, somewhat logical of course. |

Yes, you're right. I keep forgetting that it took place in the 50s/60s. I just hope Alberto comes back asap and not just only appears in the last episode of season 4. I just can't stand Carlos, Christina and Marco!! All this negativity, it isn't good for my heart 😫 What if Alberto comes back and becomes the head of Galerias Velvet with Ana by his side. They both run it. And offcourse, Mateo (married with Clara again) will be his co-partner. Everyone would be so happy Talking about a happy ending?😁😁😁 |

There were so many scenes this week that I loved but only caught a few words so it makes it harder to discuss. I'm very excited for the subs for this episode. I think it was my favorite so far. I was nervous about how they would handle the fallout from Pedro destroying the store, and from what I could catch they handled it great. I keep watching clips from the episode over even though I'm missing a bunch of dialogue. 😀 |

This series has become one of my favorite series I've had the opportunity to enjoy. If the would sell the series with English subs I would purchase them to enjoy later when the series is no longer a available on Netflix. Carlucc, Pride and Prejudice with Colin Ferrell is one of my favorite series of all time and I too watch this series at least once or twice a year. I have come to love Velvet equally as much. I am so greatful to VV for creating and sharing this thread. I would also like to thank VV Alfi, Northboundtrain for their subs, translations, updates, links, music soundtrack assistance and making it possible to enjoy this series sooner than would have been possible had it not been for their generosity. I also hope Bambu realize how popular this series is in various countries and America. I also love the many posters whom have made this thread so addictive. I love reading everyone's opinions, perspectives, ideas and what if's. Awesome thread and the people who post and keep it💯 when posting.❤️ |

I just want to thank the women who run this site and vv who provides subs. What an incredibly generous thing to do. I appreciate all the comments that help me get through while awaiting the translation. I don't mind spoilers because it is such a lovely show to watch in the moment even if you know what will happen. Such a sweet spirit among this community. Perhaps because we are all romantics from around the world.

Valentin was fooling around with the gun, looking down the barrel, trying to fix something. All the while Enrique looks horrified and conflicted like he wants to tell him not to point the gun at his face like that, but also hopes he will shoot himself. I wonder if perhaps the gun went off and he accidentally shot himself. Does anyone else think that is how it might happen?
