I absolutely love the story of Rita and Pedro. Their relationship development. Finally getting their time to be together. They were goofy and fun but whenever Pedro got with Rita he's laser focused and spot on. They are so in love with each other. When Rita gets ill, Pedro does whatever it takes for her. He doesn't have a mean bone in body. Their relationship has matured thru the years. They have definitely grown on me. My favorite moment I have a few.
1. When he confesses his Love to Rita at his wedding.
2. Their wedding in Porrils, Rita was stunning and so in love with Pedro and he was handsome.
3. Their wedding night in Velvet. He was so vulnerable and gentle with her.
How can you not fall for this couple?

My favorite Velvet couple!!! I'm a sucker for best friend love stories! I think they are so great for each other. They balance each other so well. Rita calms down Pedro's nervousness and Pedro helps Rita be more positive and not be in her head so much. I love how their relationship has grown over the seasons and how Pedro would do anything for Rita. She is the most perfect person in the world to him. Who wouldn't want to be loved like that?!
My favorite moments of theirs (so hard to choose!):
I love when Pedro realizes he loves Rita (Him seeing them in the TV commercial is hilarious to me!)
When Rita tries to tell Pedro she canceled his wedding to Rosa Marie
Pedro declaring his love for Rita at his wedding to Rosa Marie
Their wedding
The first time they make love
i know the cancer story line was sad, but their interactions throughout it I loved!

Oh yes. I love their zany, impulsive ways. They do balance each other out. The cancer line he would do anything for her and Rita wasn't haven't not one pesto. The best acting from Pedro and Rita, so much passion. Best couple ever.💜💜😄😄😍😍

I'm just rewatching Velvet and to me those two are still the most annoying characters, especially when they're interacting. I know they're meant to be the comic relief characters with all the other drama going on. It gets better after the 1st season, but still since I alread watched it I find myself even skipping some of the scenes with them in it  . |
