Part 2 is now up: www.dailymotion.com/video/x524ifsAnd marlito, the site wlext.net has all 3 seasons of Gran Hotel subbed. I do know that site has a lot of pop ups though so watching on like a phone or tablet is quite difficult. I'll see if I can find another way

You mean "En juego"? in what context? if it's a pop-up, an advert about playing on-line?

Anyone else wishing Ana hadn't given the money back to Enrique? I really wanted them to use it to fix up Dona Aurora's shop. It just felt like it was perpetuating the harm Pedro did. Also, I'm a little tired of Ana right now. She just seems mopey all the time and like she just lets Marco and Enrique walk all over her. I wish she would start thinking of ways to thwart them. She seems so passive to me. I really hope that they don't wait and have Alberto swoop in and save all her problems. I will be really irritated if that is the route they go.

Lara's post mentioned a number of times that the show made her weaker and dumber each additional episode. Yes you are right she is letting the antagonists walk all over her, I don't get is does Spanish television stories has to have the whole mountains fall upon one person before the happy ending comes? She should keep the money to use to repair the store and why should she worry about the pictures of Pedro and Jonas when Enrique use the Money to force Pedro to do it. They are so many proves that Marco and Enrique set this up. I know someone is going to argue about this how Spanish culture works " nobody is going to believe the worker" which I don't believe. Spain is civilized country even in the 50's and there are laws governing the society.

Thank you very much for the translation! I cried through most of the episode. It was great to watch both parts at once -- that was a lot of work!

The results of last night's election have still not sunken in for me. I've been burying myself in fiction all day and will probably do so for the next four years . Excited for today's episode though. And yes it should be normal time today since the US has already turned back it's clocks a hour.

Hi! I'm new here but I love both Gran Hotel and Velvet ( for different reasons).
A couple things about this latest episode...
- Why didn't Pedro ever ask Ana for the money is he really asked everyone and needed it so badly and knew she was now making lots? - Why didn't Ana give the money to Dona Petra instead of Enrique? - I love the song that played when Patricia and Enrique were in the elevator together. - I loved the electricity and dynamics between Humberto and Raul, but I didn't quite get it all without the subtitles. I wanted their interactions to continue - I really wish Clara and Ana had actually discussed the Marco fling. (Side note that I was really disappointed in the first episode that she was with him, he was Mateo's rival and had stolen his gf, plus it can't be serious because he is engaged and was moving away) - I really love Mateo!!! - Marco is such a one dimensional character. I really felt he had potential and also thought that he and Mateo could be chums when he was first introduced. I don't understand why he is so against the Pret-a-porter idea when he is from a more fashion forward country that understands it. He should be bringing in the new ideas to the business. His acting in Dona Aurorita's store also didn't seem very believable. - I don't understand why Enrique is around. Sure he owns 20%, but he has no format role in the galerias. He is not the manager or running any particular dept. - I like how Mateo and Ana's relationship has evolved. She is more of an equal now and he can relate to her success and status and hard work more now. - I like how Ana cared so much about Rita's illness but it was too the point where she didn't at all seem to care about her project or the store. She should have told Raul and Clara for example.

Love Velvet and await with baited breath to read and see all that I can. Am so grateful for the hard work providing subtitled episodes. I am 73 years old and an American. I voted for Trump. He was not my choice in the primary but he won. I am very conservative, believe in our Constitution and love and respect my country. I have been disappointed with comments on this site about our President-elect. He is not perfect but his policies hopefully turn this country around and go in the direction of economic growth, security and smaller government. The general media is so liberal and to the far left that they forgot about the grass root Americans. Because I am a white conservative, I am labeled a racist and a white privileged supremacist. This is not true. Everyone needs to trust our system! I believe the results of this Administration will go down in history as one that is for peace and love. Trump is for all people! Do not believe the propaganda of lies‼️ I like reading this blog because it's about Velvet not political views. So far yours is the only one that sounds like propaganda. The next four years will definitely go "down" in history but not for the same reasons. Now back to what we are here for...Ana and Alberto.

She should have told Raul and Clara for example. Apparently the cost of the surgery cleaned Ana out, so it doesn't seem like she is rolling in the dough. Also, I got the impression that Rita wouldn't let Pedro tell Ana. She was mad that he went to her after the fact and spilled the beans about her cancer, which I actually felt was pretty unfair of her. I know others have questioned why Pedro only went to family, but the more I thought about it the more it made sense to me. I would be much more uncomfortable going to my friends for money than my family. Plus, the ones who maybe could help are closer to Rita, not Pedro. I was glad Ana wasn't as worried about the store. Under the circumstances it would have made her seem a little cold and heartless to me. Rita's situation is much bigger in the scheme of things. I know everyone keeps saying this is her dream, and it is, but only for the last like month or two. Her career isn't at stake, just this new idea is.

I forgot to say I'm also loving Mateo right now, and his friendship with Ana. I had issues with him in the beginning, but I love the way he's evolved.
