The first car, when he and Ana were in an accident, was a Mercedes-Benz 190 SL. That model was made between 1955 and 1963.
The second car is a 1958 Chevrolet Corvette C1. Since Velvet starts in 1958 and his Corvette is a 1958 model, quite possibly the MB 190 SL is a 1958 model also.

Thank you for the info. My wife recognized it as a corvette but I thought Spain may have had something similar. She was right.
