What I find most interesting is that Alberto has battle wounds on his face in both weddings. So what the hell is going on? Does he kick Carlos' ass before both weddings? Is this becoming a tradition for the two of them?! I need ANSWERS. Haha.

Maybe Patricia & Enrique are arrested at the short haired wedding thus postponing it? One could only hope.

With bad omen I referred to the words she used first, too fateful, but could be also that she just didn't want to reveal too much. They are not going to escape together, losing her child was her punishment, but more may come, Enrique with no doubt is going to be in the receiving end, it's about time, losing her and his child seem like a very light punishment after the murder of Valentin and all his evil doings. I wonder if they will make her a "Barbara" or a "Bonnie" though. I just don't get a great vibe from it...especially that scene where they're embracing at the wedding.

Northbound, maybe they'll pull a switch and Patricia will go to NY instead of A/A since Emilio doesn't want to go. Maybe all 3 will go. I also tend to lean towards her dumping Enrique and starting anew.

IMO, we're heading for a finale where everyone possible is paired up with someone else (except Cristina and I guess Jonas unless Luisa makes a surprise appearance). It's fine. I'm trying to focus instead on what the finale is giving me...a resolution to Alberto/Ana and, it looks like, a reunion for Clara/Mateo.

I hope they don't completely drop that. I think a good sign that they won't be together is that he's not at the wedding. I know he and A/A dislike each other but I could see him sitting in the back if she agrees to stay with him. We'll see, but you might be pleasantly surprised. I just want to know what these two weddings are about. A little surprising if Enrique doesn't have a scene with Cristina, but I have a feeling she and Barbara will be the beginning and the end of her storyline today.

My speculation on the timeline is this: that Patricia "ends" things to keep the suspense going for the audience, then she goes to the wedding, and then he shows up at the wedding (the scene where they're embracing in one of those preview videos) and they do end up together after all. Honestly, I appreciate you and alfi throwing other ideas out there, but I'm just done with hoping for a better resolution to her story. She was one of my favorite characters and I can't stand her story this season. Every episode, I've hoped it would get better, and instead it's just gotten worse. As far as Enrique getting away with Valentin's murder, I wouldn't be surprised. I don't want to get into spoilers for other shows here, but there's a reason I think these writers would have him get away with it. I'll be happy to come back and eat crow if I'm wrong, but I don't think I will be. My initial reaction to the "two weddings" stuff was that it seems a ridiculous waste of time to have both of them take place in this episode -- I liked the idea of two weddings better when I thought MAS would be back for more than two episodes, with one rushed/hasty wedding, say, in episode 7, that gets interrupted, with Ana/Alberto dealing with that/getting to know each other again, and then a proper wedding in episode 11. But I'm trying to reserve judgment until it airs...there may be a really good reason and I'll love the way it plays out.

All the stories were pretty meh and out there this season. Unfortunately, you're probably right and there is a good chance he'll get away with it. Look at Carlos. Hopefully she won't get Valentin's money. There are so many things happening that I forgot they still have to resolve the Otegui shares. I can't see Alberto buying the store back with Cristina having any part of ownership or even putting her shares in a trust for her daughter. The only way I saw her giving up her shares is if Alberto conned her or she didn't know he was the buyer. Maybe he won't prosecute for the fire if she gives them up and leaves Madrid. I hope the Oteguis are eradicated from Velvet all together. If not, then we know where they want to go with the spin-off. I'm thinking she will be on more than I thought this ep unless they totally ignore her ownership issue. Yikes, that could actually happen. That's what they did when he left. She is like a cat who has 9 Velvet lives. I agree about the two weddings, seems very repetitive and a waste of MAS limited time. I keep forgetting about the live stuff too. This ep has to be at least 2 hours.

Again, I'm trying hard to reserve judgment, but it just seems so odd to me that there would be two weddings in the space of one episode.
