i just realized that my niece's Christmas concert will be tomorrow night during episode 11!! For a half second I contemplated missing the concert but that would have proven to my family how obsessed I am about Velvet. Hopefully I will be able to see the whole episode later on on artesmedia. Of all nights... Ive delayed my food shop until after in finishes. Supermarket will be quiet...hopefully

Lady- I agree with everything you said, except that there was an element of truth that Ana kept him from loving Cristina. I think Ana played a huge part in it, but seeing he and Cristina's married life made me believe he would never fall in love with her. I know Alberto always loved Ana, but I still feel like Cristina was very different than what he was looking for. She and Ana were on the scene at about the same time in his youth, so all things being equal, he fell for Ana and not her. I think if Ana didn't exist, he would have went for someone more like Ana, who as we know is the total opposite of Cristina. I also go back to the fact that it could have been very easy for Alberto to go back to Cristina when he thought she was carrying his baby and that he and Ana might have been done for good. That's exactly what Cristina was hoping would happen, but he said his decision to divorce Cristina still stood, despite his break-up with Ana. He was vulnerable too, which usually leads him to bad decisions. He and Cristina were so incompatible and he knew that from the beginning, like when he said he'd run away from that social scene all his life and is now marrying the country club queen. If she was less delusional and let go of her fantasy, she would have seen it too. I am definitely in the minority on this board when I say that I was not so into the fairytale aspect of the relationship of A/A, which is why I think they should have given them realistic threats, not jokes like Cristina and Carlos. It would have been so much more powerful if both had been in potentially serious relationships with others when Alberto came back and in the end they chose each other. I didn't love The Notebook like every other female seemed to, but I did enjoy that they didn't do that old trope of making the other man a villain. It made even more special when she chose. Velvet, won't go there, which is probably why Marco was turned into such a shit too. Lady, I'm still holding out for alt universe Velvet. Lol Prim- I don't think Cristina changed per se. Her sense of entitlement and narcissism were always there. We saw it come out in the S1 finale because she was crossed. These were the two people who had helped her the most in recent months, but she didn't care as long as nothing got in the way of her happiness. She didn't really view them as friends, but people that were there to serve her and make her life run smoothly. Rita is a friend, Cristina is a worst nightmare. Ana thought she was nice until she saw her true colors come out at the wedding. Up until that point, there was no obstacle in Cristina's way, so there was no reason not to be nice or have her claws out. However, there were a few scenes with Blanca where Cristina was about to go off. She always acted like she owned Ana. I've maintained since S1, bad Cristina was always lurking beneath the surface and exploded out in S3&4. She was only about Alberto and when she lost him, that was it. Since she was used to winning, she wasn't going to take him leaving her lying down. It was easier to blame Ana then to admit to herself that Alberto and her marriage were made on a foundation of sand that was never going to last no matter what she did to hang on. It was only a matter of time before he was going to leave. Her pushy ways just hastened the process, but she was confident in herself and that was her ultimate downfall. This picture doesn't really say much, just visiting the Jr., but MAS looks gorgeous so why not brighten up our day.. https://www.instagram.com/p/BOQCQeDjP5R

Thanks for the video...the Ana/Alberto stuff looks great.
I'm going to assume whatever happens to Emilio is what ends up making him and Blanca decide to make a go of it.
And Patricia/Enrique do end up together, of course, LOL. alfi, I wish we'd bet money on it.
At least now that that's spoiled once and for all I can focus on ignoring them and enjoying other elements of the finale. I hope it's good.

A bad omen that that's the first scene she shared with LG and JR? I figure she's just talking about interaction at the wedding. I think Patricia goes back to Enrique afterward.

Ok, some backstage wedding stuff, the long hair wedding has to be the actual wedding and it looks much fancier than the short haired one. I'm so confused with these weddings! https://www.instagram.com/p/BOQbv-ADNdL
