Velvet 3.14 "Vientos de cambio"  Air date: Dec. 10 2015 Enzo Cafiero delegates his son, Marco Cafiero, as the new director of Velvet. However, Marco's main objective is obvious: To make Velvet the most profitable company, no matter the cost. Due to his objective, he makes radical changes to the way things get done in Velvet. Meanwhile, Carlos continues to show his "support" for Ana and even offers to take care of her and her unborn baby while also making sure to destroy any signs that Alberto is alive. This includes making sure the mail man delivers Alberto's letters to him rather than to Ana. With news of their engagement, Mateo and Clara are greeted with congratulations by their friends and colleagues. The good news also brings the arrival of Mateo's "mothers" into Velvet, who are determined to have a lot of say in their son's wedding. Raul finds himself dealing with someone from his past who is on the run from the police. Now that Cristina knows of Ana's pregnancy she's even more determined to destroy Ana. |

Hey everybody! Okay, so, I watched the episode, but as I've said on my Tumblr, I know very little Spanish, and I had other people in the room with me so I had to turn the volume all the way down -- and I kept getting interrupted. But, from what I saw, it looked like a good episode. I cannot wait until VV puts up the subtitled version, because the Raul scenes looked devastating. I was just thinking the other day that it was strange he'd been on the show since S1 and they'd never explored his sexuality, but now it appears they have. I saw that Patricia/Marco shared a few scenes -- did anyone who watched and understood the dialogue get the impression that the writers might be putting them together? I hope not. Marco's cute, but I'm still sort of hung up on the idea of her and Jonas. If they do Marco/Patricia, that would explain why Patricia/Jonas haven't shared any scenes since the day of her wedding. But what wasted potential! The Mateo/Clara stuff looked great. And, ugh, Cristina. I was hoping after her attempted suicide at the hospital that she would try to start rebuilding her life, but she's still obsessed with destroying Alberto/Ana. I don't see a happy ending for her...not after today's episode and what appears to be going on in the previews. With every episode, my hope for a Max return dies a little.  I mean, yes, I'm happy that Esteban is still gone, but I still want Max back. Because I am greedy. |

I'm working on them! The first part should be up some time tomorrow. The only thing that sucks is that I don't think I'll be getting Spanish subtitles for this one either so I'm doing it by ear. I've got most of it though so far. I don't want to discuss too much of it now because I've only watched the first 10 minutes but Carlos and Cristina. I don't see their reasoning at all. They are just delusional. I'm interested in what Marco is going to bring and I hope when I watch that Patricia/Marco scenes that I don't get that vibe because I'm still rooting for Jonas/patricia. lol

Really hoping cristina goes away. She is just gone crazy now and I am hoping Ana doesnt lose the baby because I'll be devastated.

I think its gone long enough without Alberto, time to bring him back! I'm very interested to see what Marco brings, but I'm really disgusted at the way Alberto has given the company away (twice now). He made a major mistake the first time and now he's gone and repeated it. He should have retained at least some of the shares.
They are making Christina crazy, I hate her (so kudos to the actress that plays her). I really hope she gets what's coming to her, in light of what looks like an attempt on Ana's baby's life this episode and now in the new episode advertisements (episode 15) she's trying to kill Ana and the baby, Ana should tell give her an ultimatum - either Christina and her family give Ana all of their shares and they get out of Velvet or she's pressing charges on Christina for attempted murder on her and her child. I'd love to see Ana get the upper hand. Its about time, she deserves it.

Btw... thanks so much for posting the episodes with subtitles and for creating this forum. My husband speaks Spanish, but he doesn't have the attention span to interpret for me so I can only have him interpret in small pieces (the parts I think are the most important). I even tried to get my kids to do it, but they speak a different dialect and its hard for them to understand the 'th' in place of the 's'.
Before I found your blog, I was trying to convince my mother-in-law to start watching so that I could call her for recaps of the show!
You certainly don't have to do this, you are VERY much appreciated!!

^aw so glad I could help! And yeah the dialects are different so I'm just glad there's spanish subtitles I can work with.
I want Alberto back already too, but I think we may be getting something about his return in the finale. I do wonder how long he'll be gone for in season 4, or if at all. I mean, I guess that could be the cliffhanger though I'm not exactly sure what the filming schedule is for Sense8 or Velvet season 4. And yeah I agree in that Alberto should've retained some of the shares but at the same time, he's doing all this for Ana and that was the only solution he felt he had. Though I like how Mateo scolded him a bit before he left. Eventually I think Alberto may be able to get some part of the company back somehow, I mean, this storyline allows for more storylines for season 4.
Cristina is all kinds of crazy. I do hope Ana gets the upper hand because what Cristina has done to her and tried to do to her has gone on far enough. She just needs to stop. I do wonder how it's going to turn out for her by the finale.
