Oh my loving God!!!This episode was everything.I am going to rewatch it over and over again..when it's out on subtitles. I love the way they couldn't stop kissing...there were no words!!!*sighs*They had to make up for five years!Damn it!!!😍😍😍😍.Nothing awkward about the kiss it was good.👌🏻. I don't know about Alberto moving his family to NYC..did you all notice the woman in red flirting with him,she must be one of his clients..*Sweet Caroline*it maybe a good idea for Alberto to remain in Madrid with his family. And I believe he will buy velvet back.

I loved the episode. I kept worrying that it would end with the reunion in the rain and nothing more would happen. And, I was crying at the reunion of A/A and stressing out when Alberto Jr. was unconscious in the workroom, saying out loud to my screen, "NO, they had better not hurt that little boy!!!! " LOL! Such drama!!! I am not surprised at the stretching of the Jonas plot line or the quick fix of the A/A etc plot lines. This is pretty typical of Velvet overall ( exacerbated by the absence of MAS) and if I were to nit pick everything I could make a laundry list. This is just a fluff piece - fun, romantic, illogical, and yet- enjoyable. It helps me forget about all of the nonsense in the world and enjoy some silly romances. Gran Hotel was quite the same. Silly plot lines and bad guys but good romance etc. I will miss Velvet very much. Thank you so very much for your hard work in the sub titling ...I watch each week in Spanish and then again, after you post the sub titled episode. I have a few friends who finally watched Velvet after my nagging them for months. They were lucky to watch from S1 E1 all the way through to today with no break in between longing for the next season to begin in English. They LOVE it as well. Can't wait for Cable Girls and until then, I will have to watch the next seasons of Poldark on Masterpiece (PBS) (highly recommend), and The Last Kingdom (highly recommend) (Netflix). Both are equally romantic and enjoyable. Till next week! Hasta la vista! ps- I cracked up laughing at Christina with the eye patch for next week. I sort of wish they would have let her die in the fire and exit gracefully. I guess we get to see her get her and Carlos get what's coming to them....HA! That's okay, too!!

I don't want to spoil much, but the built of the entire episode was about the reunion of Ana and Alberto, yeah, i'm Captain Obvious.
*Patricia is reconsidering her relationship with Enrique, he is losing her by the moment. Valentin murder, her brother being alive and her miscarriage are affecting her deeply.
*Albert junior has inhaled too much toxic gases from the fire, doctors are trying to clean his lungs but they don't know how he will respond to the treatment.
*Marco closed the deal with the new buyer... but Ana presented her renounce, to be resolved in the next chapter...

Did I not tell you guys that Cristina was prepping her daughter to call Alberto *Papa*!!😂😂😂😂😂.Of course he wasn't having it..I appreciate his kindness to the little girl..but firmly told her the truth not shying away even though he wasn't aware he shares a son with Ana.He is the only one that can royally wipe that stupid smug from Cristina's face and reduce her into a blabbering fool.Alberto shut her down...and humiliated her in front of her little kid. With eye bulging she started ranting and scaring the child..poor girl.

Cristina has no limits, she is unstable! She has an ice cold heart..if she had gotten to Alberto jnr,she would have twisted the story..and made it look like she saved the boy's life!Meanwhile she is the one that set the fire knowing there is a kid with the rest of the staff living in that workshop..I wish she died.. I hate Cristina too, but I'm going to give credit where credit is due. She obviously isn't in her right mind when she sets the fire and endangers everyone. HOWEVER, when Alberto Jr physically appeared in front of her, she did care that he was there and to me, it counts as a lot that she tried to go to him. Does this outweigh everything she's done before? Of course not, but I think it speaks to whatever drop of good is still in there somewhere. Though yes, if Cristina had succeeded in saving him, I could see her twisting the story to suit her own ends. But she didn't succeed, and now she'll live with the visible scars of what she's done for the rest of her life.

I have to say, I'm really not a fan of how the episode went down. 1. There wasn't nearly enough Alberto/Mateo. When I think about how utterly destroyed Mateo was with Alberto's death, and how he still seemed at the beginning of this season to not be entirely over it, I think there should have been more of a pay-off for their reunion. Way too much was glossed over there. 2. Patricia/Enrique. Not just Patricia/Enrique, but barely any Patricia reacting to Alberto being alive, or reflecting on everything that's happened to her. The only reason she even existed in this episode was to make Enrique feel bad about losing his kid even though he already has one child he ignores. Everything about this storyline is just offensive. 3. I love Jonas, but there was way. too. much. focus on that story considering that there's only one episode left before we (very likely) say goodbye to these characters forever. 4. The Ana/Alberto reunion also feels glossed over (and the song choice, "Vegas Wedding Bells," was awful -- that song fits Mateo/Clara, but not Ana/Alberto). After some hesitation/fear from Ana in the car, they were back to making out and then giggling on their way into Velvet JUST IN TIME for the fire, so then they had to deal with that. 5. And what even was the point of the fire? It wasn't to (finally) knock sense into Cristina, because she didn't even successfully save Alberto, Jr., and no one will ever know or believe she didn't intend for him to die. It wasn't to kill off any character, because no one died. It wasn't to make any character have a sudden epiphany about loving another character. I could have understood if the point was to burn the store down to metaphorically set the characters free in the season finale, but the store is still standing. I don't know...my impression from this episode is that the writers knew they had a tall order to fill with the Mateo/Alberto and Ana/Alberto scenes, and they just didn't want to put the effort in. Either that, or MAS's Sense8 filming screwed the show over and the producers didn't know how to handle it. Maybe I'll change my opinion when I watch the subtitles, but I don't think it'll change much given my issues are with the airtime allotted to different stories and not with the dialogue. I agree. I thought once Alberto came back, it would feel like the old Velvet, but it didn't. I think one of the biggest problems was the 5 year jump, you can get away with the sort of lackluster reunions after 1-2 years, but you expect more after half a decade absence. I guess Patricia's reveal was only about the miscarriage. I'm actually surprised the show remembered she was Alberto's sister long enough to remember to inform her he was alive. She is very disconnected to Alberto's other family. Sadly, Marco's fiancée didn't factor in much, at least not this episode. I agree about Jonas, love him too but way too much. The reunion was very, very off to me. I can't put my finger on one thing exactly though to explain why. I will reserve judgement until I see it with the subs, but Alberto didn't seem like Alberto. Everyone seems so different this season, except Clara and Mateo. At the same time it didn't seem like 5 years had passed, it was all very rushed. I also realized how much both matured physically. I wanted to see full blown emotion, there wasn't time for any of that with the fire. Mateo not telling Alberto about his son was such a plot device, and how did Ana know he didn't know? I guess his lack of mention. Northbound, the song choice was the worst lololololol I was laughing about the cheesy, Elvis style Vegas wedding vibe I got from it last week. I'm shocked they used it for Ana and Alberto's reunion. I thought they would get a new song. The fire has to be thrown in the lack of phone calls, Adele's visit, Carlos stealing the letters and the non wedding, elaborate scenarios that aren't necessary. I couldn't believe they pulled Cristina out of the fire alive! I did feel a little badly for Cristina 😳 She really is pathetic and since she was finally put in her place in the airport scene in front of her kid, it was kind of sad. She brought it all on herself, I do wish they would have added depth to her storyline and her instability. I hope she lost her eye, as morbid as it is, for her to just recover from that kind of injury is unbelievable. I guess if the show ever came back, they had a way of getting rid of the dorms. Lol northbound, let's be honest, they never rise up to the occasion with the reveals. This one seemed very straight forward, but they dropped the ball like they always do. Next week as predicted, Carlos's and Alberto just have that fistfight and that's it. I think like in previous season, Cristina will be gone in the first 20 minutes. It's a shame MAS didn't have more availability to maybe bring things together more cohesively. I do want to know what stops that wedding, seems like she gets to the altar. BTW, did MAS voice sound hoarse to anyone else?

I love the scene between Alberto and Raul...❤️❤️.Also love the way Mateo and Alberto kept hugging each other,I love their friendship and brotherhood. I want Alberto jnr to marry Clara and Mateo's daughter..that will be something.Instead Of Cristina's daughter..if Cristina raises her she is going to be just as bad as mom..the apple doesn't fall far from the tree.Just saying.

I loved the whole episode....even with Jonas. We needed a break in the tension.
When Christina "forgave" Alberto I wanted to laugh. And when she introduced Cris to him did she really think he forgot that she got pregnant after he left her? He handled it really well with the little girl...he was very gentle with her.
Alberto will always be my favourite but Mateo is a close second. When Clara opened that door I cheered.
I just loved the reunion between Ana and Alberto. That kiss....😚😜. He looked like he had been to hell and back. I believe he suffered even more than Ana in those five years. She was mourning his death but he was distraught over her indifference. Tried my my best to understand what Ana was saying but when they were outside still did she say that she wanted him to meet someone? Did she tell him about Alberto Jr already or did he find out when they were inside and she was frantically trying to find the little boy.
Ah Christina what are you plotting now with your disfigured face and eyepatch. She's like one of those zombies that just keeps coming no matter how many times they are shot at! Hopefully Barbara removes her from Madrid forever and locks her up in a tower somewhere and tosses the key.
i always found that MAS's voice was hoarse or throaty in the other episodes.

My pulse was racing the whole time!!! I thought it was well done dispite some of the obvious no subtitles, so basically not knowing a thing that was said!! OMG!
What I loved was the support Ana got from Blanca. Ana's surrogate mom for sure.
I loved the reunion of Mateo and Alberto, so genuine, and the the phone call to Raul, it was like the 3 musketeers back together.
Christina, holy mother of God, what a dispicable role model for her daughter. Ana was gentle when she took both kids by the hand to guide them back to the dorms, what does Chritina do, puts her hand over Cris mouth to shut her up! And the show down at the airport WTF, I can't belive she really played that card. She is deranged. But truthfully, for the first time, since she's played the role of the crazy lady with such gusto, I felt she underplayed when she was burning the dress. I could imagine her cackling like a witch, (maybe she was although I couldn't hear it) and really going stark raving mad but she sort of held back. It didn't come off believable cause she capable thats for sure.
Alberto and Ana's reunion was just as I imagined it. Heartfelt, intense, and finally together. And when Alberto ran in to save his boy, I could sense his urgency and shock of what he just heard.
Here is what I wonder Christina looked deranged when she turned around with that eye patch in the preview of the next episode. Nothing short of a bullet will stop that woman. Ana will find out that she set that fire. There should be another showdown between Ana and Christina if not with Alberto too because she jeopardize the life of everyone including Alberto Jr. Ana wouldn't let her get away with that!
I mean this woman needs to be put away for christ sake!
Enzo makes an appearance. I bet my money Alberto get Velvet back!
So much to discuss. I waited all night, even thinking about it at work tonight and Velvet didn't let me down. I lived it! And damn, I am going to miss it! It really felt I needed more of it and am not ready to say goodbye! "Sigh"
