Overall, I'm bitterly disappointed with how Alberto's return was handled. The silver lining of Alberto's absence, for me, was the anticipation of seeing Ana and Mateo's reactions...seeing PE and JR really dig into that material. Well, we didn't get to see Mateo and Alberto seeing each other again, and unless they do a flashback in the next episode (which I very much doubt), we won't ever see it. And Ana's reaction wasn't handled well either. I thought maybe the show would try to up the suspense by having her refuse to believe Clara/Rita, but it seems from what I got from the dialogue that she DOES believe it. And we didn't really get her full reaction, either, since the camera cut away. I'm just in shock that the show chose to handle it the way that they did. I think it makes sense because the big climax of the show is going to be when they meet again, in the next episode Cristina and Carlos are going to try to separate them. |

Oh my gosh, that totally didn't go down like I expected. Although I knew she'd never marry Carlos. I'm glad Ana at least caught onto Cristina and her true colors came flying out. I don't even think Cristina was ever insane, just always an evil narcissist. S3 was just stupid, this season totally keeps in line with her from the first 2. she knows exactly what she is doing and she is terrorizing Ana. I am surprised we didnt see more of a reaction from her when it all came out. The most disappinting thing, we didnt see Mateo and Alberto reunite, not even a glimpse of Alberto. I dont even think he'll have a big sit down with Mateo and my concern is that we will barely see him next week, except for a few scenes and the reunion will be a cliffhanger. He might seriously be in little more than 1 episode.
They seriously need to do a S5 to make this bullcrap of a season up to us!!

I accidentally watched this show live!!!This is the most juiciest,dramatic episode ever!!!!👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻.Though I didn't understand one word.Just like I called it..and Yes I did!!!Clara and Rita stopped Ana in her tracks with that Bombshell...These friends came through for Ana..and I am so proud.Carlos reaction mind blowing,he would have made an abusive husband..his reaction was aggressive...Cristina looked like she was having a seizure..as she explained to Carlos the unfolding drama.

She was so stand-off-ish... Then she came to drop a letter anonymously telling him when he can meet him. I didn't understand why she was being so 'mysterious'. Would be crazy if Adele re-appears in some way, but I wouldn't count on it with all the blatant plot holes.

* Raul returned from Paris and gave Jonas advice, and Jonas got to work sketching. He and Jonas had a nice heart to heart about Jonas going to Paris. But then when Jonas presented his designs to Raul, Raul didn't appear to like them at all, but then when Clara ripped Ana's dress, Ana got to use one of Jonas' designs instead.
Raul is very pleased, he is just playing "tough teacher" on him.

Cristina and Carlos are still going to plot against Ana and Alberto next episode haha. Cristina thinks she can make Alberto doubt about Ana. The last conversation with Ana, wow, it's been 5 years without seeing each other, Cristina has told Ana that Alberto only loves himself and that's the reason he didn't come back, that he abandoned her. Their plan is going to blow up in their face. I hope Alberto beats the crap out of Carlos and I hope Ana beats the drop out of Cristina. |

Why is Alberto who supposedly wanted contact and was shunned for 5 years, making it so difficult to see him. You'd think Mateo was asking for a meeting with the Pope based on her reaction. Not to mention, no return address on his letter to Mateo and let's not forget not one phone call or plane ride back to Madrid. It's all so ridiculous! |

I totally get that the real big moment is when they see each other again, but that's robbed of much of the power it might have had because she already knows he's alive. That's what I don't understand...if they knew they were going to have MAS for a limited time, why not just delay Ana finding out until they moment they can get them back on screen again? And cutting away from Mateo...I just don't get that at all. JR is a fantastic actor. I feel like this robbed him of some powerful material. What did he say to Alberto? What did Alberto say to him? I don't know, alfi...you know that I've defended the show A LOT on here...but I can't defend this. Either things weren't planned out as well as they should have been, and some logistical problem came up that they couldn't solve, or the writers genuinely thought this would be more powerful. If it's the latter, this is a time that I cannot agree, either on the Mateo account or the Ana account. |

Cristina and Carlos are so dumb because it is obvious Alberto is going to explain himself and let Ana know he wrote several times over the years and did not get a response from her and thought she gave up on him and does not love him and they will probably investigate why she never received the letters and it will be revealed that Carlos knew and eventually it will be revealed that Cristina knew also. It is all going to come together in the end. |

Quoting myself, I think they just confirmed that Adele is going to make another appearance after all!!! Unless they said last season and not last episode. UPDATE: Forget that I said this. I had the Hasta Siempre segment running in the background after the show and they were talking about the new characters in the last season (4) not characters that were going to show up in the last episodes of the season. |

I think the receptionist passed along Mateo's card to Alberto and he decided that he would meet him. Does it really matter if it all comes together in the end if the journey getting there totally sucked? Most of it is about the journey at this point and not the destination. |

I said something to my husband about having him in more episodes with smaller amounts of time and he reminded me that in the US actors are paid by the episode. I don't know if that is true for Spain as well, but it would explain why they wouldn't have him in just for a 5 second reveal at the end of an episode. Because of this I actually figured we wouldn't see him after he didn't show up in the first half of this episode. I was more let down by how anti-climactic the reveal was than anything else. Loved it when Marco wasn't able to seal the deal on selling Velvet because Ana had quit!! |

When Clara ripped Ana's wedding gown,I fell off my couch,i laughed so hard.I am not surprised!!Rita couldn't interfere much because She wasn't the one that's in constant contact with Mateo,she doesn't understand the degree of what's going on,just like Ana she is equally in shock and still processing it.Unlike Clara who knew that the wedding must be stalled.Remeber the reason Alberto got into a fight with Carlos over Ana...it was Clara,she was the one that told Alberto in his office about Carlos stalking behavior.
Carlos and Cristina are going to be messing with Alberto and Ana..they are going to try to create doubts between the two.Alberto has his job cut out for him,he needs to convince Ana..that he still loves her and explain the five years *silence*?Both of them need to reaffirm their love for each other,to win this WAR.
