Velvet 4x8 "Prêt-à-porter" / "Ready-to-Wear"

Why are there so many painful scenarios for A/A. How much more are the writers going to put them through before we finally see them happy together. This is becoming quite frustrating to watch. It's becoming old, to be looking at all the haters, especially Christina hammer Ana all the time, season after season; episode after episode!!!!. Where does it all end! What's going on with these writers???

I totally agree. There were a lot of storylines to make up for the absence of Alberto and where some of them were poignant (Rita having cancer) some were funny (the actor vs Raul) ..the three evil stepsister like in a fairy tale Cristina, Marco and Carlos against Ana is dragging too much.
I've completely lost interest in Patricia and Enrique.
I actually think on hindsight that since the producers knew MAS would be out for most of the season...They should have found another actor who was just as charming, handsome and sexy and would makes our heart beat faster to make us all feel yes ANA GO with him..And THEN when Alberto (MAS)
does return..we the viewers would also be torn thinking should she go with the new guy or does Alberto and her still have magical chemistry and they stay together. Right now it's angry knowing Alberto is not there and every corner the scorpions (Cristina, Marco and Carlos ) are plotting against her.
The idea that Ana would marry Carlos is infuriating. OMG..I was so mad that Carlos and Cristina put on that parade fashion show of Ana's work and tried to take credit for it. That's a horrible thing to do to a designer or artist. It doesn't make sense that Raul was no where to be found and he would have done
everything possible to stop it..SO I guess they came up with that plot to have him go to Paris to help Jonas...

Lady, your killing me 😆 I would join you in sticking my fist through the screen and punching Cristina. You're right, that is exactly what she wanted for the jewelry line. When she had to put in real work, she couldn't do it. She's only good at ordering other people around to do the actual work. She always wanted to be more valuable to the store than Ana, since that will never happen, she just inserted herself into Ana's place. She really looked like the cat who ate the canary. 

I agree, a lightbulb went off when Pedro saw Enrique and Patricia. Though I'm not sure why no one noticed their relationship before, but this season they've been so much more obvious I guess. I wonder if that will figure into plans down the line. He could also testify to the affair, since he basically saw them kissing. 

Yeah, Clara was great in that scene and she, unlike Cristina, knows how to make underhanded comments in a very stealth way. Cristina beats you over the head with the arrogant face and line delivery. Even in the early seasons when she was being nice, there was an underlying arrogance whenever she spoke. I think I could have had sympathy for her if she really did seem so naive and not bitchy, but she always seemed like the biggest narcissist to me. Her sweet routine seemed put on for the benefit of Alberto. He wouldn't be with a nasty woman, look at his disdain for Barbara, so she adjusted her personality to appear to be the perfect woman for him. That or the actress can't even hide her bitchiness. 

What I would LOVE is for Alberto and Ana to go back to their roots. Have Alberto play into Cristina's obsession and lead her to believe that he wants her to come to NY to be with him and convince her to sell her shares of Velvet and leave Madrid behind. When she does, bam, Alberto was the secret buyer. Bye Cristina👋🏼 She'd die! The reason this won't happen is because there are only 2 eps he's in and who wants them wasted on Cristina. I'm with you though, I want to see Cristina out of Velvet and away from Alberto and Ana even more than wanting to see Ana and Alberto together! They have succeeded in taking the focus off A/A and onto Cristina. If Alberto gets the store back there is no question Cristina has to be out. That is what she constantly lorded over Ana, that she was part owner and her boss. What I keep going back to is that the show thus far has been reluctant to get rid of this character or even punish her. I think the show will end with Alberto and Ana leaving, either to NY or elsewhere. I do believe he will get ownership back because one of the saddest plots of the show was when he had to give up shares to Gerardo to marry Cristina, oh if he only knew what a disaster that would be become. Then he was stuck with the Oteguis forever. Wth was he thinking? Anyway, having him get ownership back and them out is the only way to rectify that situation, but since he won't be there to have interaction with her, they might just say what the hell and allow her to keep the shares, especially if they bring the show back. They just won't dump this character!!! As for Marco, I don't think he gives a shit about Velvet. His feud with Ana makes no sense and I think he just wants to go back to Italy. How he will get screwed is his father losing respect for his ability to adequately manage his businesses after his personal attacks on Ana.

I think Ana has to give up Aurorita's. Velvet pays the rent on it, that's why I never understand why Ana fought so hard and allowed Carlos to use his own money to remodel it. It's not hers! Her quitting Velvet will just coincide with Alberto coming back. If he gets Velvet back, she'll keep the rights to her designs.

I noticed that too about Enrique. Marco just wants an ally and Enrique finally said something that made sense, what's good for Ana is good for Velvet! They are making money so who gives a crap about her winning awards. Marco wants a yes person and that's now Cristina. Remember she was the outsider when she first came back. Enrique never had a problem with Ana so his level of aggression towards her was always very odd. When Marco mentioned that Enrique was interested in the broader business in Italy it made more sense why he wanted to be in Marco's good graces. Cristina obviously has her own vendetta against Ana, so her teaming up with Marco makes more sense than Enrique did.
