I think this season Carlos (ugh), Enrique and Marco were more than enough to fill the villain role. Cristina is not interesting and should have been done for in S3. If the show did come back by some miracle for S5, both Oteguis need to be gone and new antagonists can be introduced. Cristina was on an add on to A/A storyline and that's where it should end. I personally would not be interested in her life at all; I just want her away from A/A already. Enrique need to be jailed or if he gets away with it, leave Velvet. What the hell is he still doing there owning only 20% anyway, he is Marco's lackey. I have a feeling Ana is going to be pregnant at the very end since Alberto missed the whole first time. If they remember their history, there was a scene on the roof in S1 when Ana said she would be satisfied in a small apartment with him and their children, they'll have her expecting again. Lara you sure have a vivid imagination pregnant another baby ๐ถ all this in two episodes? Did you forget that Alberto is coming back in episode nine or maybe even ten he will be busy beating the crap of Carlos comfronting Christina/Marco/and Enrique when is he going to have the time to make a baby before the show is over ๐๐๐I love โค๏ธ you. Why not another baby! A/A are finally together! Vivid imagination is what they need on this show.

Lara, a S5 miracle would be a pleasant surprise. The S4 series finale with Ana and Alberto expecting their 2nd child would be a happy ending to an era. If by some miracle there is a Velvet S5, I would love to see a season filled with a happiness for A/A with them winning at everything. a happy marriage, three or more children, successful careers, high demand for their fashions, financially endowed and loved by everyone. I would like to see Christina green with envy, still conieving against A/A but loosing at every turn. A/A in all the papers, invited to all the exclusive galas with Christina wanting invites but getting ignored. I want her there but paying for all her wrongs. I know that's mean but she deserves it and more. I say keep the antagonist but let her lose this time and in the end come begging true forgiveness because it's no fun when you reap what you sow. Ok guys, that's my vivid imagination.๐

I would have no problem watching A/A daily lives, especially after these past 4 seasons. However, for the love of all things holy, give Ana decent hair and clothes! Your way is the only way I would want Cristina back. We shouldn't even need another season for her to get what's coming to her, but they've done a piss poor job of punishing her. Having her be tortured seeing A/A and not having much power at Velvet -- which she always held over Ana -- and no Barbara to mean girl with would be great! I always wanted to see her be shunned by her social circle, but that never happened. I really can't stand her smug face and would love to see her go down in flames.

Last weeks episodes I felt like I caught a lot more of what happened. There were so many scenes this week that I loved but only caught a few words so it makes it harder to discuss. I'm very excited for the subs for this episode. I think it was my favorite so far. I was nervous about how they would handle the fallout from Pedro destroying the store, and from what I could catch they handled it great. I keep watching clips from the episode over even though I'm missing a bunch of dialogue. ๐ I think what makes the episode so good is we only saw Cristina and Carlos once at Cristina's breakfast table, the rest of the story is about Velvet and how they supported each other in difficult times. And the storylines are fresh heart warming and hopeful. Ha! We also saw Carlos very briefly when Ana tried to cry in his arms after finding out about Rita, but he was too busy plotting about how to have his wedding to hug her.

I think he had some shades of gray last season. Like you mentioned getting rid of Cristina, he also called her out when she tried to get him to fire Ana. He seemed tough, but not into games like he told Patricia. He also checked on Ana and seemed genuinely concerned. That's why this reversal is so surprising because he's become the very thing he condemned. I really, really, really want Alberto to get Velvet back, but I don't see how he could. I hope we see Enrique carted off to jail after the collection is presented. It's just so insane though because his initial relationship with Ana was so short lived. He's so the type that would have moved on to a young, naive flight attendant that he could control and manipulate. I think his reasoning has to be to conquer Ana since she's resistive and he's a control freak. He's the type that once their married he will start micromanaging her life. I think once she tries on that wedding dress she might realize it will be a mistake. At least I hope lol I still don't think they will make it to the altar. I can't picture her leaving two guys at the altar, imagine? Lol MARCO I agree with everyone who's disappointed in how flat a villain Marco Cafiero has turned out to be this season. He had a couple of really intriguing, tiny acting moments in S3--after Cristina was hauled away post scissors attack, when he tore at his tie and stormed out of the taller, and later when he touched Ana's face (under Carlos's glare) in her room--as well as some broader stroke character-building (including what you mention above, Lara). I mean, he wasn't set up to be a wholly good guy (he had bullied Mateo at prep school, and seemed gleeful at the idea of continuing to do so in the galerias) but he had a lot of potential. (Also, the way I read his way of handling Cristina quitting, rather than Ana denouncing her, is that it would save Ana a lot of time, trouble, and heartache. It might take months to go through the legal process--months when Cristina might do something even worse to Ana or her baby--and the Oteguis had the money and connections to get her off, or at least get nothing more than a slap on the wrist. Getting her family to voluntarily lock her up was a much faster and more reliable way to get rid of her.) Here's the thing that I really miss about Marco joining the Enrique gang of "anything to spite Ana" management (formerly the "anything to spite Alberto" school): it automatically makes whatever Ana is doing right. There can't be legitimate disagreement between "build it up" and "burn it down," if that makes sense. I LIKED that Alberto wanted to make Velvet great, and Raul was a good choice in the long run, but in the short run his first collection WAS a financial disaster for the store. I LIKE(D) that Patricia also wanted what was best for Velvet, but didn't always agree with Alberto. That made for interesting conflict. To me it would be much more interesting if Marco had a comprehensible idea why pret-a-porter/ready to wear would be an financial disaster, and Enrique became his ally because they agreed on the BUSINESS prospects, and that's why they were fighting so hard. Not because...they didn't like Ana? Marco didn't like that Ana went over his head to his Daddy? Why are destroying her pret-a-porter line again? Wouldn't it make more sense for them to just earn money if it actually seems like it would work? Aren't they supposed to be internationally renowned executives? Wouldn't Ana's success really reflect well on them?? I mean, sure, I get that they can put personal issues ahead of financial and career incentives, but something that seemed to be central to Marco's character was "cutthroat businessman." That's why he was making the Velvet workers keep longer hours, etc etc. He didn't care about their well-being, loyalty, etc. It's just so inconsistent. Ditto Enrique. And I was kind of dying to see Marco interact with Clara, now that Clara knows (which she does, right?) that Marco and Enrique told Pedro to pick between letting Rita die and taking the money to destroy Dona Aurita's store. I think Marco was taken aback that she threw him out for good, and as she told Ana she obviously did not see their relationship as something serious, but did he? ?? THE FUTURE This is in response to the Velvet/Carlos/wedding comments, all smashed together, because I have just one original thought on the end game for all this: Ana moves to New York to run Silk with Alberto. That's my prediction. Ana comes close to marrying Carlos but doesn't (I like the idea of trying on the dress and then deciding she can't), Alberto returns, they get back together, he thinks about selling Silk to buy back Velvet, but then they decide they want a fresh start away from the pain caused by their families, Cristina, Carlos, Marco, etc etc AND to fulfill the dreams they always had of leaving Madrid, so they go to New York. Plus they both like cheeseburgers so much. (p.s. I wish I could figure out how to post in between paragraphs like you, Lara. Any technical advice?)

Sure, this is going be tough because it keeps quoting. Lol Highlight the text you want, copy and paste it in between quote ... /quote. Put both in [ ] I 100% agree. I think they knew how they wanted the series to end from day 1. The foreshadowing was always there. Poor Valentin, he literally and figuratively didn't know what hit him involving himself with Patricia and Enrique. I also agree it would have been a lot more interesting for Marco to legitimately have concerns about Ana's plans. They are obviously making her in the right as far as the future of prep-a-porter, but I understood were Marco was coming from as well. Velvet is known for Haute Couture and they've made a lot of money from it, so why fix what isn't broken?
