Hi All,
I think that Jonas' character is a bit undeveloped, but he's a fun wing man for Pedro. It is also interesting to see him as a character that's a bit different from Andres.
Did you guys like him with Luisa?
And what about his fling with Patricia?
I think Luisa and him were paired too early in the show. She's really sweet and the type you settle down with, and I could see them getting together later on (if she did not go into the singing world). They are both really bubbly, wide eyed, and cute. You know how they say ppl tend to date those that look like them? I feel this is definitely true of these two. Lol.
The pairing with Patricia was a little surprising, but ultimately I thought they were evenly matched. He can handle her sassy attitude. Do you think the show should continue with this plot line/their affair or better to just let it end now that she's married?

I agree with you that Jonas hasn't really gotten the focus that other characters have, which is strange considering how much focus LG got on GH...I figured when they brought him on that they would use him more. (Then again, they didn't really utilize Amaia Salamanca either.)
Jonas x Luisa: I thought they had some potential early on because it was interesting watching him get a rise out of her (honestly, I found Luisa pretty boring for most of S1 and S2 and I think she needed someone to sort of snap her out of it). I agree, though, that they were paired together too early. I think there's always a chance the show could bring her back toward the end of the series and have her get together with Jonas, but I'd be more "meh" on that since I think the way they ended tainted the idea that they could be the kind of epic love story the show is known for producing.
Jonas x Patricia: I really like them together (see avatar, LOL). I didn't, initially -- my process went sort of like this: *watching them use each other for sex in the early episodes* = okay, not really interested...can we get back to relationships with substance? *watching Jonas getting jealous and clearly falling for Patricia* = okay, now this is more interesting, but I don't know if I should get invested... *watching Jonas proclaim his love for Patricia while she marries Valentin* = OMG I ACTUALLY LOVE THEM NOW!?!?! *watching Patricia/Jonas NEVER interact except for that brief scene with Lucia and Marco toward the end of S4* = WHY ISN'T THE SHOW PUTTING THEM TOGETHER???
Frankly, I think there's a LOT of potential for Patricia/Jonas to be the show's next big "will they/won't they?" love story, which IMO the show desperately needs now that Clara/Mateo are married and Alberto is presumed dead. I also agree with you that they've demonstrated that they're evenly matched. They also have very good chemistry.
But I cannot understand why the writers dropped them mid-S3 after we saw them struggling with their feelings for each other. To me, that felt like a shift in direction...either the writers just decided to drop them because they'd rather have Patricia/Enrique (ugh), or they deliberately put them on hold so they could explore them in S4.
Which reason is it? I go back and forth depending on the day.
Jonas x Lucia: All I have to say here is that the idea of these two together bores me. Lucia in general bores me, and I wasn't really inspired by the scenes she shared with Jonas.

^Basically my exact thoughts/opinions about Jonas' love interest. I really really want him with Patricia though. They are a really great match for each other so I hope to see them in season 4!

I don't buy that Jonas loves Patricia or vise versa. This could've been established with some pillow talk. I would've liked to see him open up (we don't know much about him, other than that he's Pedro's cousin). What's his history? And Patricia could open up about her feelings towards her father. I think that could be interesting.
Anyway, I liked how Jonas called her out about not marrying a person she loved. What I liked best was that it wasn't implied that she loved Jonas. They're not there yet.
Do you guys like her with Enrique at all? I think I prefer her with him. Hahaha.

IMO, the show ended up giving us mixed messages re: Patricia/Jonas. I think LG really sold that Jonas was developing feelings for her pretty early on, and I bought that not just because of LG's performance, but also because Jonas seems like the kind of guy who, when he falls, he falls hard (which we also saw with Luisa).
Now, I do absolutely agree with you that I thought the show could have done a lot more with developing their relationship in scenes where they just talked about their lives and gotten to know each other. But, in the end, even without that, I do believe Jonas fell for her.
From Patricia's side, it's a little trickier to figure out, because much of her hesitation in marrying Valentin could also be easily attributed to the fact that she was marrying a man she didn't love for his money.
The one moment I can point to where I think the show was signaling that she might have feelings for Jonas is when she turned to look back at the back door of Velvet when Gloria came to pick her up. I don't think that moment was just about leaving the store (which had offered her a form of independence that she was now giving up to return to her former life) or about second thoughts about Valentin, because the camera switched back to show Jonas watching her. To me, his presence at the door made the moment more about him and the possibility that she felt more for him than she had been letting on.
The problem is that even though Jonas probably wouldn't say his actions before her wedding were "easy" (admitting he loves her, openly showing his jealousy, trying to argue her out of the wedding), in the end I think it was easier for him to admit all of that than it would have been for Patricia to admit to feeling anything for him. As we saw, Jonas could admit to loving Patricia, but it didn't really cost him anything other than pride -- he said it, he owned it, and then he moved on and continued living the life he'd been living.
Patricia's in a vastly different situation because of the engagement to Valentin, but also because of her "station" in life, I guess you could say. I mean, when Jonas tried to stop her from leaving Velvet, her reaction was to stand there and mock the idea that she could be happy living there with him. In that moment, she made it about social class, money, power, reputations and alluded to the reasons why the show would need to do a lot more work to make Patricia choosing Jonas plausible.
But that's also another place where she may have shown her hand, come to think of it, because up to that point Jonas hadn't said one word about his own relationship with Patricia -- his focus was on telling her that she would not be happy with Valentin.
Patricia is the one who made it a choice between living with Valentin and living with Jonas.
But then the show dropped them. That's why I said mixed messages earlier...for those few episodes in S3, it felt like the show was building toward something, so why was it dropped? I do love them together, but I'm all too aware that in S4 they may not interact at all, and when/if they do interact the show may make it clear that all we saw in S3 was meant to be a passing flirtation and that's it.
Re: Patricia/Enrique, I don't actually like them...a lot of that is because I don't like Enrique (the one and only time I liked him was when he stayed with Cristina after her suicide attempt), but I also didn't like the way their affair went down.
